I never wish injury on anyone but it would almost take that for Parcells to come to his senses on the issue. I understand exactly what you mean for last year and for this year.Alexander said:No offense to anyone, but there were times last season where I was almost hoping Testeverde went down so we could see more of our young QBs. And if the playoffs ever get out of reach this season, I might start thinking evil like that again.

I dunno Hos... Are we sure absolutely, positively sure that wheelchairs aren't allowed on the field?Hostile said:I never wish injury on anyone but it would almost take that for Parcells to come to his senses on the issue.
I searched the rules. I can't find anything. My hopes are now dashed.Chocolate Lab said:I dunno Hos... Are we sure absolutely, positively sure that wheelchairs aren't allowed on the field?

We are on a 2 game losing streak. Capiche?
If we lose to Kansas City this weekend you can kiss this season goodbye. Capiche?
Romo is our backup, and our headcoach has shown great judgment on QB's, ask Vinny, he will tell you.
Your right, lets move on.
Last year that was enfuriating. Parcells said we were still in the playoff race although realistically it wasnt gonna happen. We should have at least played Henson 4-5 games at least, just to see what he can do. Doesnt seem like Henson is ever gonna play though. I think that was a JJ experiment, and Parcells wants none of it.Hostile said:I never wish injury on anyone but it would almost take that for Parcells to come to his senses on the issue. Sigh.

We also know that no team ever has to use a 3rd string QB in a game. Unless you pay attention to 2001.
2005 Drew Henson
2004 Drew Henson 1/2 the year, Tony Romo half the year.
2003 Tony Romo
2002 Clint Stoerner
2001 Quincy Carter, Ryan Leaf, Clint Stoerner, and Anthony Wright all spent times as the 3rd guy due to injury.
Yet another agenda shot to hell.
This was a nice effort at least.
Nah, me and Charles have been squaring off since he called himself Qcard. We actually respect each other. Just like joking.Joe a Cowboys fan said:Yah gotta give Clint his due(Arkie where are you now), he hung on forever at third string QB. Props to Clint. My only question is this discussion so impassioned because we could lose all three of our QBs and not do any better next year?

aikemirv said:Funny, a simple discussion on throwing motion and injury about Henson turns into this crap.
Why did it turn into this crap?
Because Nors and Charles wanted to weigh in about hoe right they are and about how wrong everyone else is.
I for one like to know what is going on with Henson.
What is so bad about that?
Future or not, Henson has put in a ton of work since becomming a Cowboy, Has the talent necessary to be a NFL QB, some will try to argue I'm sure.
The question is, can he overcome the layoff and lack of experience to become a productive QB in the NFL.
No one really knows at this point and many have their opinions.
Why can't we have a simple discussion about him without having this "I told you so" crap thrown into the middle of it?
aikemirv said:How many threads were about a player not even on the team? TO
I did not see you complaining about those.
It gets old talking about how bad the OLine is on 20 different threads, some devote pages to who we are going to draft - not even on the team.
I don't understand your problem with this thread. It goes on every day, all day long.
Is it something you have against Henson that brought you to complain about this one?
No we weren't better.kartr said:Because we were better with that player who is no longer on the team. We routed the likes of Detroit on their own field, not sleepwalk to pitiful lackluster 20-7 win. That player also never lost to the Skins and always played well against the Giants and beat the Eagles when they were good even though he had a less talented team than the one we have now. Big difference between him and the likes of Henson who can't even beat out Romo. We would be laughing at Washington if they were pinning their hopes on Henson as their qb of the future. If we had Washington's qbs and they had ours, we would be laughing at the idea that they thought (Bledsoe,Romo and Henson) had more potential.
kartr said:Henson=crap. Not even worth thinking about. Romo has been struggling in practice, yet Henson is still third string. Nuff said.
