Get over it already he is not on the team. Move on!!!! You act as if he was the all time greatest QB and the fact is he was not, he was backup material at best. In the end it really does not matter he is not in the NFL and no one is interested in him any longer. Well except for you. Every time I see you post here it is in regards to Carter what's the deal are you in love with him? It is hard to believe that you have such a 1 track mind and is circles around a bust of a QB

Wrong again. When they laugh at you it is because you are clinging to something that the team has moved on from and you're trying to sell people who weren't sold on him then that we'd be better off now.

No one sees it. No one is going to see it. There isn't a gaping need for a drug abuser on this team. No one wants him to get his life together more than I do. But you're hanging on to a fairy tale like it is our only hope. Quite frankly it's funny and you get the brunt of it because it's your silly sermon with facts changed to fiction.

Not one person on this forum wants this team to lose if they are a Cowboys fan. The thing you accused people of is funny because you're the one guilty of it. You're upset that Bledsoe is winning games because it lessens the liklihood Q-ball is ever coming back. There was no chance of that anyway. He wasn't that good. If he was near as good as you preach he'd have a job. It's really just that simple.

So, why would you pine away for a player that will never play again?

You do realize you are making no sense and are basically crying over something that won't take place and the prospects are stronger in your strange fantasies than they were ever if based in reality.

You really need to listen to the interview he had a few weeks back. All that did was confirm what a sad paranoid mental case he is. I suggest you listen to it if you can.
That remains one of the most disturbing interviews I've ever heard.

Quincy Carter > god.

It turns out that QC was just too damn good to play in the NFL, and threatened to throw the earth off it's orbit if he continued to hurl fireballs at WRs. We are all better off not having Q in the NFL. KEEP QUINCY OUT OF THE NFL!!!!!!!

Do it for the kids. It's their future you're trying to screw with.

Not wanting to start a Henson thread here, just wanted a question answered if anyone knew. Last week someone mentioned in the midst of a thread that they were allowing/asking Henson to revert back to his old throwing motion, and thus basically admitting that the change was a mistake. Has anyone else heard this, and can confirm this?
pathetic...they're grasping at straws, anything that might make him even serviceable....Henson is a lost cause, bank it.

Move on.

Move on? I'd rather they didn't. In fact, I would rather they give him the starting job next year, and I'm dead serious when I say that. The guy has the physical tools and he is 25 years old.

If he has the physical tools and is such a young stud, why is he third string?

Just because he has an arm and can run that does not mean he is even close to grasping the mental responsibilities of the position.

Your are correct, and the way you grasp the mental responsibilities is by playing, not doing homework.

And in terms of why he is 3rd string I can answer you in a word, Parcells

I guess we better invest in the simulator Brady used prior to taking over the starting gig after Bledsoe went down.

Yep we all know Parcells has a habit of not playing young players who have proven themselves worthy of starting.............

Bradie.........Johnson.........Shanle.........Ware.........Canty :banghead:

Put it to you this way.

Look at J.P. Losman and the flack the Bills F.O. and coach is getting over playing him this year and getting rid of Bledsoe.

Imagine if we did that with Henson and got the same results. You would be pretty upset, wouldn't you?

And I hate to say this but I think Losman is a better player and QB than Henson right now.

I'd say he is too but only because he's been given a chance. I still think henson could be the better QB. He needs to earn it though. If he doesn't, shame on him.

Henson's done, by the time Bledsoe retires he'll be like 28, too old for a QB starting for teh first time. We need to get a young guy this year, i have negative faith in Romo/Henson.

I don't understand this concept of being given a "chance".

People usually say this when there is some underdog they perceive is being slighted. It happened with Resherd Lee last year. He needed a chance but Coach Parcells was just being stubborn. Turns out Coach Parcells was right.

Keith Davis needed a chance and he has shown that he is not the best man for the job. But he at least beat out his competition. Coach Parcells stated last year that he was a better special teams player than free safety.

Now we have Henson. He needs to earn the chance. And if what he did in preseason is any indication, he is going to just have to do better.

Okay, I'll say it this way. If Henson had as much PT as Losman he'd be further along than Losman. I call that getting a chance. There is only so much you learn running the scout team.

I'm sure that will be determined one way or the other during this upcoming off-season. Right now none of us know what kind of progress or lack of progress Henson is showing. For me it is a non-issue at this stage considering we are in the middle of a race for the playoffs and Henson is not going to be playing this season any ways.
