Quickest release ever?

Another thing I remember was the QB competition one year where there was a timed obstacle course and at the end of it you had to throw the ball at a bullseye. Marino was razzing Randall Cunningham before the start, jokingly claiming he would own the very fast and mobile Cunningham and beat his time on the drill. Cunningham was of course an amazingly athlete and when he ran the course he nailed the bullseye at the end of it and was leading the competition by a mile. Then Marino went, and was predictably slow and ponderous running the obstacles, but at the finish line the ball rocketed out of his hands and nailed the bullseye. It was like lightning, the instant Marino's foot hit the finish line the ball was out of his hands. Marino won the drill. Everyone was shocked, except Marino who knew what he was talking about.

I remember this.....

Marino had one of the greatest trash-talking comebacks I've ever heard. Well, at least I thought it was funny.

Cunningham had just finished some drill well. All the other QBs were backslapping him. Marino was coming up.....Cunningham thought he'd try to get into Marino's head by saying, "Are you nervous Dan?"

Marino replied, "No.....but I know YOU are."

I have always thought Namath and Marino had the quickest release. Romo is more mobile so that adds a little however. Isn't a little premature to be mentioning Romo in the same sentences as the aforementioned?
