Its been 19 games, we're still waiting. And when he does take over a game, good - thats what you pay a guy 45 millions dollars to do.

Good talk, bro.

Ummm. Barber, Ware, and Ratliff are actually productive- they have a right to get fired up. And they do it after a big play. Roy does it after a routine catch.

And you're right, I hate seeing players give TD balls to kids. As a matter of fact I hate kids, more than I hate Roy in fact.

Stop reading the thread, and stop replying to it if the meaningless whining is too overwhelming.

Oh so when Barber, Rat and Ware do their things that does not fire up the other team but when RW does it well that just gets the other team fired up

Do you actually think this stuff up before posting? :lmao:

RW has a right to get fired up as well all players should be. Hell one of the gripes around here is guys not playing with emotion so only some guys can play with emotion is this correct?

I have made no excuse for RW fumble or the drop he had, as far as I'm concerned he has to make those plays no and, if or but about it.

I do see some good things showing up with RW and Romo, and I hope it continues because it will only help the Cowboys by having another member of the offense contributing

Eh, better question is why are you such a supporter? I don't think that there are many here that began as "Roy Haters", just a number that are "Roy Observers", my observations have been that he is putting up 4th receiver numbers and cost as much if not more than any receiver in football if you value the surrendered draft picks. I think that everybody here prays that he learns the routes and or adjustments eventually and can contribute as at least a solid #2 receiver, but so far we haven't seen that with any consistency. If he had had success with 2 of those passes last week the game might have turned out differently (same so with Austin) so his potential value is undeniable. So again what are you seeing so far?

First off, I support him because he is a Cowboy. Second, I see a guy that actually has accountability, even if the "haters" say he complains too much. What did he complain about that wasn't correct? Hell, even Romo himself pretty much said that to Bob Costas before the Eagles game and that's why Romo said basically that he knew the media was going to try to blow that whole issue up. Kinda ironic though that since he made those comments, Roy has had almost back-to-back 5 catch games (averaging 90 YPG). Please, T.O. throws folks under buses. What Roy said was nowhere near T.O. standards & we all know that T.O. would've NEVER said that he lost the game if he fumbled or dropped a pass (never did it in the 3 years he was here).

Now, I'm not saying that I wasn't expecting more from him - I absolutely did and stil do. But, I see a guy that is finally starting to "get in tune" with his QB and the plays are starting to come. Also, if I see that he truly the sole reason that this team is playing poorly, I will definitely say that he is.

The problem I have is that the "hater" mob seems to be implying that he is the sole reason for when the team struggles, and he clearly is not.

He costed us 3 valuable draft picks.

His cap number is outrageously high for a guy as non-productive as he is.

**.

This part does not address now (it is the past) and was not his fault.

Quid pro quo Clarice.

How is Roy Williams helping the team?

By not being the whiny, I need the freakin ball all the time presence of the guy he replaced. Miles Austin would NOT be doing what he is doing if T.O. were still here. His ego would Not allow someone else to shine over him - just like he is doing now. And, if you notice after the one time he supposedly "whined", that he and Romo have looked as in sync as damn near Romo and Witten.

Sure, that's only one thing and yeah I expected more. But, unlike you and the haters, I do not see how he has all of a sudden become this huge hinderance to a 1st place team.

For the most part, i think Roy has been a team guy. I can see why he's frustrated...and why many of us are too....but I don't see him as a bad guy or anything.
As for the draft picks, etc....again, take that up with Jerry, not Roy.

I've read this in numerous posts over the last couple of weeks from the bulk of the Roy haters. I've got a challenge for all of you that think this - PLEASE post your supposed factual reasons for why he supposedly is.

If you can't, please just shut the hell up for good about this subject.

:D

youre kind of arrogant, you know that? and you should realize that "criticize" is not equal to "hate"

People are frustrated with Roy, and they can't see the forest for the trees. He's a convenient whipping boy, alot of people didn't like the trade in the first place. The original Roy Williams caught the same amount of hell and irrational hate. There's no point in fighting with them about it. They'll be all over his jock when he takes over a game.
No, "they" won't. If and when that happens, "they" may decide not to say anything at all. However, it is fair to say that when he does anything remotely critical afterwards, "they" will be all over his jock over it instead.

Also, unless you happen to reside in the minds of those that I'm referring to, you really don't know if "they" are just criticizing or hate the guy.

You know, I could've really gone to a new low with the set-up you just laid out there for me. Put, I'll pass this time.

I can understand peoples frustration or upset that Jerry gave up to much for RW what I don't get is those who would rather not see Williams progress and improve. He is on the team and is not going any wheres the best thing for the Cowboys is RW and Tony being on the same page and that is starting to happen. His drop and his fumble did cost us as did the play of many others this past sunday.
