I can understand peoples frustration or upset that Jerry gave up to much for RW what I don't get is those who would rather not see Williams progress and improve. He is on the team and is not going any wheres the best thing for the Cowboys is RW and Tony being on the same page and that is starting to happen. His drop and his fumble did cost us as did the play of many others this past sunday.

Laying out ultimatums on a messageboard doesn't have anything to do with "Williams progressing and improving". No more so than the deserved criticism he receives.

No, "they" won't. If and when that happens, "they" may decide not to say anything at all. However, it is fair to say that when he does anything remotely critical afterwards, "they" will be all over his jock over it instead.

don't speak for me, pal

I'll congratulate him

and I'll even start to love him if he consistently does something

but even 1 good game isn't going to change everything, actually 2, because he was fire in the Buc game

I love how there is some irrational hate of Roy, I love even more that just his name-sake is reason for all the hate, no, it's frustration that is well-founded

heck, I was giddy when we picked up Roy, because I thought he was that 1,300 yard receiver from 2006, not the guy who is on pace for less than 1,000 yards receiving in 2009

We pay him way too much for him to get by on just being a good blocker.

Probably wouldn't be very ladylike. Good call.

Again, I'm gonna leave this alone even though you keep setting me up for perfect comebacks. BTW, I'm a 36 year old man from MD. I played DB/RB on Suitland High Schools 1989-1991 football with former Steeler and Patriot Chad Scott. But, if you want to think I'm still a woman, you go right ahead son. Scares me that you're into that kinda stuff though (wanting to visualize grown men as women). Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm.............

It's a shame I'm missing out on all these 'perfect comebacks'. Please, don't hold back with your witty repartee. I'm sure you've got some real zingers in there.

Those are some impressive credentials, but I'm not sure what relevance they have to your son, Mrs. Williams. I'm going to conclude that 'Suitland High school' had a co-ed football team?

Right now, he isn't hurting the team any more than TO did really. A few drops and missed route adjustments. Actually, he has raised his game to even out TO. If this production is consistent for all the final games, we will be real good off actually with him and Austin and etc etc...

Was his contract too much, sure, but right now, he is producing some.

Actually if Garrett had route combinations with frequent various slants for him, this would not be an issue. I really believe he would be KILLER on deep crossing slants.

I never put out an ultimatum to anyone. I also agree he like any player when they screw up should be called out.

Heck RW himself said "My mistakes cost us this game" He is not trying to weasel his way out, nor have I given him a free pass on the 2 big mistakes he made in that game.

I'm also not blind to the fact that over the past 2 games RW and Romo appear to be on the same page as the passes are now hitting him as he is coming out of his breaks and I think if that continues then it will be a big help to this team because it give Dallas just one more weapon to turn to.

Dday, it's my fault. I laid out the "ultimatum".

Shame on you. :whip:

There is nothing wrong with open and constructive criticism unfortunately some do not know how to do that, everything is emotional and many times over the top. It would be a bit easier if people could view the good and bad and have rational discussion about both.
