its plain and simple. bp wants a bus driver(romo) and MOST of the dallas fan base including Jerruh want what we've always had, a superstar quarterback (THE next Roger, THE next Troy). And i think Jerruh is willing to take his chances with the potential superstar(Henson) than the bus driver, won't win it or lose it for ya qb(romo)

i say give henson another year....what's the big rush?

BINGO!.............however, I'd really like it if they would give Henson more time with the first team. The intangibles are there, the experience is not.

We still really don't know what we have in Henson IMO. That is what preseason is for.............at least I thought.

Don't you think that Bills experience is enough to assess Henson's future. Henson is basically getting the Hutch treatment because he's a loss cause. I think Bill is keeping Henson around just to humor Jerry.

OH, BTW did you notice that Henson DID NOT HOLD FOR THE EXTRA POINT on Romo's TD throw....Remember..Romo holds when Bledsoe is playing, Henson Holds when Romo is playing.

I was seriously at Fenway Park today with my two sons taking it all in. We smoked Tigers.

Ran into a guy who was at the game and flew back with two of his buddies.

He said Henson smoked Bledsoe and Romo pregame. Had a cannon and was clearly the best QB. Said Romo was short and had a weak arm.....

Well damn. If they were there, I must be wrong. Obviously, I'm missing something very important here. Apparently, I've been wrong all along ... if in fact, they were actually THERE.

Folks. Never. And I mean absolutely never underestimate a players ability to run the pregame, warm up offense. In fact, this is key to making accurate assesments.

If Jerry hasn't learned by now that he's a football jackarse and he needs to leave the decision making up to Coach Parcells, he'll never learn.

Boned in Austin, apparently you have been wrong all along. You spew post after post glorifying a guy who has never accomplished anything other than a couple of pre-season passes, news to you, there's a hundred of those guys out there. I'm not saying Henson's the man. I do however think he is a very gifted QB, it is obvious by your ignorant remarks that you have not actually watched Drew Henson in college. And I do think that you are a moron for spewing your negative conjecture towards him at this point in his career. You act as if Henson is just stinking it up while Romo is playing like God. In your mind only, truth is they have both been very impressive at times and have both made a few mistakes, but it is obvious to most that Henson is a far superior long term prospect. And as far as looking more comfortable in the pocket, Henson looks alot better then your boy did in his second year. It's like the old your ugly and I'm chubby deal, I can lose weight but you'll always be ugly. Henson will get more comfortable just like Romo did, But Romo will never develope Henson's physical skills. If you look close at Romo's throws you might notice that even when he happens to squeeze one in there that they could have just as easily been picked off, like that last touchdown to morgan. His deficiencies will be exposed if he ever happens to actually play a real NFL game some day, which just might happen, but until he does, you have nothing!
