I gotta admit, McDaniels was one of the guys I was hoping for when Garrett got fired. Im still not sold on McCarthy, but he's at least far and above McDaniels. I really thought Josh McDaniels was gonna get it right his second time around as a HC, but obviously not.
This needs to be his LAST go round as an NFL HC. He’s beyond bad.

Does Quinn get a phone call.
If I am their owner that's the first call I make.
I will dig a hole in the backyard, jump in it and bury myself.

Ha ha. Owner laughs hysterically. Then realizes the joke is on him when someone mentions guaranteed contracts. I hear the total is $72M remaining for both. Yeah, they are billionaires so maybe no biggie.

McDaniels signed a six-year contract, which leaves the Raiders having to pay off the remaining four years.

One of the few teams that make Jerry and company seem good at their jobs.

McDaniels, just like Belicheck another stiff that was made to look like a genius because of Tom Brady. Neither can get of their own way without him.

It’s rare for an owner to side with an unhappy player , but this is why the raiders have been a terrible franchise for so long under Mark Davis. The man has an aversion to stability. Granted, JM didn’t do himself any favors by having the 3rd worst offense in the nfl but he was only in his second season. So, the carousel turns in raiderland again. Welcome Jim Harbaugh?

Marc Davis is learning that appointing an outside GM in charge can lose the owner function of achieving. Al Davis was good at player identifications and team building. Jerry learned a lot about the business from San Francisco and Al Davis.

Think Quinn doesn't like his job and successes in Dallas?

The story isn't written for this season. Let them fight the war out...
