Raiders fire HC Josh McDaniels and GM Dave Ziegler

Nope, not Phillips. He had a lot of partial seasons because he took over as interim head coach three separate times. But only Dallas fired him midseason.

I can't find another coach who was fired midseason twice but it's a hard thing to research.
Ron Meyer was fired in midseason by the Patriots and the Colts.

Only a matter of time before Josh McDaniels is headed back to NE Pats to join his long time buddy Billy Beck and be new OC to replace O' Brien and that yucky offense.
Maybe he'll be asked to be " consultant" right now for Belly and O' Brien.

Amazing how that dude has been fired mid-season after he's chased off and replaced the starting QB (derek carr)
Just proves how Derek Carr was not the problem with the Raiders. The problem are the majority of dumb Raiders fans and their ownership/management. Same thing is happening here with our Cowboys with many fans wrongfully demanding Dak be replaced. Dak is not the problem. Good thing our ownership/management still believes in Dak. That's the only difference. A majority of Cowboys fans and Raiders fans are very much alike. Badly misinformed and very likely brainwashed by the hater media.

Bring David Ziegler in for a look. At least kick the tires and see if there’s any tread left. He can’t be any worse than what we have now.
Oh God NO NO NO NO......You might want to re-check some of his decisions. You don't give 30 year old WRs 5yr deals worth 140 mil....resetting the market...that cost you your 1sr and 2nd rounder.

Darren Waller....3yr...51 mil...coming off injury

Chandler Jones....over paid
Renfro...over paid

You literally could make a case for every decision they made was wrong.

This is exactly how this board wants Jerry to run the team.

"Bring in a football guy"
"Fire GMs when they don't perform"
"Accountability"

LV is your greatest representation of that.

ehh, while i dont think Carr was the biggest issue there, he wasnt good enough to overcome the rest there despite having good talent there.
Problem is that they replaced him with someone who is just flat out terrible. Purdy took his spot with the 49ers and look how much farther hes taking them than Jimmy G surrounded by tier 1 talent, and as were seeing, Purdy has some flaws too.

McDaniel is a monumental d-bag. Always has been. People didn't like working for him, he was a pain in the ***, etc. What he did to Indy, accepting the job and then backing out, should have cost him any chance at another HC gig. But there are always a stupid owner or team out there (cough, cough) - insert LV. It's hardly surprising this all fell apart.

McDaniel should crawl back to NE and hope to hell Belicheck gives him a job. And also hope to hell Belicheck sticks around because if he retires soon, McDaniel will be looking for OC jobs in Div III.

Surprising to see the GM fired mid-season. But then again 30 other NFL owners fire their GM within 4-5 years if they don’t win a championship or at least get to a SB. Except our owner.

McDaniels, just like Belicheck another stiff that was made to look like a genius because of Tom Brady. Neither can get of their own way without him.
Amazing that a QB runs a team and does everything and the HC does nothing. I read posts like this and wonder at the lack of knowledge of football

that should be it for Josh McDaniels and HC positions

anyone who hires him to be HC is fooling themselves
The Colts might give him a minute. Quite literally just a minute.
