Dak is Dak, we all know what he is at this point (except Jerry), but QBs do not win games by themselves.

I don't care if it's Tom Brady. You still need something else, preferably a good defense. How many points did Arizona score? 11?

Holding your opponent to 11 points is usually a winning formula.

Tampa Bay held the Chiefs to 9 in the SB. What a great defensive job by Tom Brady.

Not at all.I’m sure not a single coach or player is focusing on that. It doesn’t matter if you are at home or on the road, favored or underdog. In the playoffs, it’s win or lose. Nothing else matters. I’m sure they are focused on losing and performing poorly, as they should. What other teams did is not in their minds at all from my thinking.

It must mean something. Teams fuss about having home field advantage in the playoff.
Or maybe it's just overrated, unless it's to avoid snow, ice and high wind.

Neither QB is average not even close. They’re both coming off bad games it’s as simple as that.

No, Dak has always been average and always will be. He has an embarrassment of riches around him and yet again, he can't get the job done. Thank the Football Gods that he can be dropped like a bad habit in two years.

If the only way you can defend your own QB is to compare him to how bad another QB is playing...then what does that say about your QB?

And despite having comparable yards and TDs (remembering that Dak has played 1 less game) also has 7 more INTs. I have liked Stafford for years but he is very turnover prone. 17 INTs is a LOT to throw in todays NFL.

I take it you haven't watched much of Stafford. He's feast or famine (sound familiar?) and threw 7 more INTs than Dak this season.

The "difference" is less than you're imagining.

As for being "available", the Rams traded two first round picks and Goff for him. He wasn't a free agent.

good points but i would take stafford any day . Don't forget Dak's up and down disaster games ( vs broncos , etc )
Plus Stafford was much cheaper than what we have . Dak is not the guy to overcome any issues on the OL or running game. We have seen what dak is all about . An extremely expensive bus driver.

Herbert is out....not quite for the Chargers
Wilson is out.. his team is bad and he was hurt much of the year
Dak is out
Cousins is out (yes, he was near the top in all categories so I put him on the list...ok if you don't)
