You old school wrestling fans will remember this as the opening for "Power Professional Wrestling" (UWF/Mid South)

Well, now I'm seeing an allusion that the curb stomp HAS been banned....

"The Curb Stomp banning was due to advice from the WWE legal team, according to the Observer."

Gordon Solie was the best.

Gordon was the best. He brought credibility to the business by treating it as a legitimate sport. He knew every hold... I listen to many of the announcers from the 60's-70's-80's-90's and they would simply make up names when it came to holds they weren't familiar with. LOL!

The use of Piper as a "heel" announcer (before his "turn") was the first time a heel was used as an announcer. Before that you would always see a "face" with that job... or a non-wrestler.

Wow. So this NXT guy debuts last night, comes out from backstage for his match, raises his arms, and BAM! Injury. Not the greatest sign of a good career to come...

Regarding Sami Zayn's shoulder injury suffered on last night's RAW in Montreal, the injury apparently came before the match with WWE United States Champion John Cena even began. As Zayn was making his entrance, he was raising his arms to get the crowd hype and it looked like something happened to the shoulder then.

Zayn started showing signs of an injury then but worked the match anyway. As seen during the match, the referee threw up a "X" symbol and a WWE trainer checked on Zayn before he was allowed to finish.

Never heard of anyone hurting themself by raising their arms being introduced.

He must have hurt it lifting weights or going thru something pre RAW & probably didn't tell anyone.

Big debut & he'd miss that.

Be hard to miss out on that

Love Zayn and really hope he isn't seriously injured.

It's about time WWE started calling up some NXT talent. Neville and Zayn are light years better than slugs like Heath Slater.
