That's the problem. Since ANYTHING can be written off as a "mental disorder" nowadays, you get nonsense like this.

The guy couldn't stop burning weed so he's an "ADDICT" now? And needs to be in treatment?

Then I guess all the fatsos I see in this country (like half the population) who keep stuffing their faces with fatty, salty, greasy foods DESPITE the knowledge that it's slowly killing them, are all "ADDICTS" too!

Let's stop chastising them and trying to get them to eat healthier foods, and instead get them all into treatment centers so they can fight their "ADDICTION."

I don't think shaming fatsos as you call it makes you or your case look reasonable

Do you also suffer from Bi-Polar disorder? And have anxiety? Doubtful. And congratulations, your one in afew people that can get off of a drug no questions asked. You also dont need it to self medicate. I really hate when people who dont understand something comment about it. I had an addiction and it took me almost a decade to get off of it, and i still to this day have cravings after 4 years. Ask Charles Haley about being Bi-Polar. they just didnt test for drugs back then.

I had no idea Gregory was bipolar until googling it just now. That changes things. Sounds like his disorder needs to be treated and not the "weed addiction", but I'm no expert on bipolar disorder.

Sorry about your past bro, stay strong.

There's a reason he was sitting there in the 2nd round, now we're seeing it play out

Sure he was....the other shoe just never dropped....signing a guy associated with a murder is always a gamble

He was cleared. He had no issues. It was just bad timing for him with the draft. Every team in the league tried to sign Collins.

You're trying to spin it to make our track record look better.

*toke toke* like, I needs help or something *toke toke*. Give a guy a chance*toke toke* .....*cough cough cough*

I stilll think potentially. Lee and Byron alone. Tanks suspension roughly mirrors his injury and we didn't have Gregory. That's not touching the additions of Thornton, tapper and Collins. It's nothing to get excited about by any stretch, but it's still not an indefensible opinion

Ok well from my vantage point its about as poor a defense as you could put on the field in the NFL. And certainly for the first 4 games with no Lawrence.

One pro bowl caliber player, two solid DT's, one 2nd year first round safety and everyone else can be thrown in the garbage as far as I am concerned. And Tapper and Collins are 4th and 3rd round rookies that no one can count on with any sense of reality. When was the last time a 4th round defensive player made an impact his rookie year? And both of those guys were need picks by the Cowboys. They were NOT drafting BPA. At least with if the Cowboys draft board was accurate.

I did forget about Scandric. But he isnt going to save this lot coming off of major surgery.

I don't care about his fricken mental problems I am a Cowboys fan I care about this team and if Gregory can't control himself then he does not need to play this game and cost this team. Dallas needs to stop drafting mental cases period.

Dude. Everyone wants guys on the field.

But let's be a little more careful about calling people who have legitimate health issues names. The sort of attitude you express is why many people are reluctant to seek help.

:) ...:muttley: No telling about the backgrounds of some management types, huh. Hey, it's football and failure is knee deep in all franchises by the nature of the sport.

Exactly! When the hiring manager has a documented background of heavy Johnny Walker use, its time for the owner of the organization to mitigate the losses and terminate or recast the manager into a less pivotal role.

I was trying to highlight how bad our record was....I actually forget Dez as a win....I was adding Collins out of fairness...any 1st round talent that falls out of the draft is a gamble....some just have less risk involved but if there ended up being truth behind the rumors Dallas would again be a laughingstock

If you take 5-6 showers a day, that would probably call for a form of addiction. There are clear benefits to shower, but it's mostly social. You have no real NEED to smoke weed, but you are obviously relying on it for something if you smoke it "daily".

Do your research: https://www.psychologytoday.com/basics/addiction

By the way, I'm not defending Gregory. I'm pointing out your stupidity. When you say it's not "real" addiction, you are blatantly wrong. You are not a psychologist, you're a ****poster on the internet. Know your place and that place is quite low.

It's hilarious to me when armchair-psychologists attempt to act like they know the workings of the body and mind. When this very thing is still "debated" between psychologists. Let the professionals do the work, go back to playing your video games.

LOL! I struck a nerve.

You must be one of the fatsos I destroyed. Good luck with your "addiction"!

Anothe one?! Sorry Gregory you just lost one of your only backers left.

That's not an argument. I wrecked you, retract your statement. You're finished here, thanks for letting me use you to clean my floor.

All this on the day Josh Gordon was re-instated.....hopefully Randy will have re-instatement day soon

does missing 10 weeks count as an accrued year or do we keep his rights an extra year

After all is said and done...I hope that there is light at the end of the tunnel for this man. Stay away from all enticements...they will TRIP YOU UP.

I hope that he has a great career with the Dallas Cowboys, as does Rolando McClain...

ARLINGTON
Rolando McClain is facing a 10-game suspension for violating the league’s substance-abuse policy, and has been prone to skip offseason work.

But he’s still under contract with the Dallas Cowboys and coach Jason Garrett expects the middle linebacker to join the team when they depart for training camp on Thursday.

Garrett gave a one-word answer when asked if he thought McClain would be with the team.

“Yeah,” Garrett said Tuesday during a coaching clinic at AT&T Stadium.

During the offseason, Garrett repeatedly said he expected McClain to show up for voluntary work, but McClain never did. McClain did report for the three-day mandatory minicamp in June.

No denial? LOL!

Hit the gym, tubby.

....that doesn't even make sense.

Signs of desperation. It's okay, you came in here being condescending and got destroyed. Keep trying! This is humorous now. You can keep doing the "Lol" thing as well to play it off like you're not embarrassed with yourself, that's okay, there is plenty of secondhand embarrassment to go around.

Oh, I'll wait for you to counter what the DSM states about addiction. But I'm sure it's another Nav22's Psychology 101.
