Should have signed freeney a month ago.
  • Sign Dwight Freeney
  • Sign Mike Neal, he can play both DE and LB like Wilbur except he had 4 sacks last year unlike Wilbur
  • Sign Leon Hall as your 4th CB for depth. I know we have some 1-2 year players and a couple of rookies but I think they won't amount to much - this year anyways. People prolly get mad cause they have a pet cat CB
  • Sign John Kuhn- he a real freaking Fullback not some squirly fullbacks that we have had around here.
  • Open up competition. Regardless of draft status or age, the best dang players play. I don't care about potential now, I just wanna win

I loved watching Amos Marsh run the football for the Texans that first year. The Cowboys were pretty pitiful that 1st year though.

The NFL handcuffed them in no draft and only rejects from other teams...the first team couldn't have beat a College All Star team.

Right about that one. If I remember right, Buddy Dial was the only real receiver with sure hands they had.

After that, I enjoyed watching the star on the shoulders of Don Perkins bounce around the field...

until the owner the dallas cowboys fires the gm of the dallas cowboys this is what happens there has to be changes or we are stuck with this for years we have already wasted tony and Jason time here now working on wasting this really good offensive line we have built.

There should be "Nailed it" button, because there is absolutely nothing to "Like" in this very sobering and accurate post.

Despite a desire to scream the sky is falling...failure of an individual sits on that individual's shoulders, not upon another. He was given a real chance, but with real potentials as well.

And people still don't think we are cursed......what kind of deal did Jerry make for those 3 SBs....he gets 4 billion and we get 20 years of crap

A guy that quit twice and was arrested as many times is always a risk no matter what you ante up

A risk? Maybe. You used the word gamble, which isn't the same IMO. Any player you bring in is a risk from what you are saying. If you don't give up much it isn't a gamble. If they don't pan out you haven't lost much. And Collins wasn't associated with murder. He was never a suspect, police just wanted to ask him questions since he dated her.

Dallas Cowboys defensive end Randy Gregory has failed another drug test, per multiple sources and may not play at all in 2016.

Gregory was already suspended for the first four games of the 2016 for violating in the NFL substance abuse policy. Per a source, he was getting treatment and checked out of the facility for a weekend, resulting in another failed test.

He now faces a longer suspension from the NFL. The next stage of the league’s substance abuse program calls for a 10-game suspension. But a source believes Gregory won’t play at all this season.

He is back in a treatment facility and not expected to be in Oxnard, Calif. when the Cowboys report to training camp July 28.

Garrett didn't want Hardy. Didn't want Gregory.

Perhaps Jerry should just listen.

I will slow clap this till my hands fall off. Jerry is as hard headed and stubborn as the players he drafts and picks up.... McClain, Hardy, Gregory. They all don't listen and have no self control.

Fair enough. I agree it's a risk. I just don't think it was a gamble with how much Jerry has already embarrassed this franchise. Lol.

If your employer says you will be suspended, we will take money from you for smoking weed and you fail those tests 5 times...you have legit problems. He knew for a long time that the employer he wanted to work for does not allow you to smoke weed.

My employer needs to quit being stupid then.

What if they ban me from calling my wife? Screw that.

Lets support legit rules and lets call out the stupid ones.

Wait a second here...as to obvious, I was a house parent in the very first MHMR house treatment center here in Corpus Christi. I had the additional duty of Drug and Alcohol adviser for fourteen years, while serving in the Army.

This is NOT the first directed counseling or advising by credentialed individuals, that he has received. He just wasn't suddenly a victim of social neglect or in isolation.

Just like an alcoholic, one has to accept that he is always one...and start working one's own way out. He hasn't taken this departure point on walk, even, alone already...He's still responsible for his choices and directions. It has to start with him, and not in pity for a problem.

That comment wasnt directed at you. I was merely stating that judging someone for having drug issues when they are Bi Polar and have anxiety disorder to boot by saying "if you paid me millions id stop" is the most ignorant thing ive ever heard. Thats all. Kudos to you btw on everything you have done. You have seen it first hand, it aint pretty. Ive lived it, also, wasnt pretty. I have anxiety and have had to battle depression on top of that, so sitting here seeing all these comments about how hes rich so he shouldnt be smoking weed to combat his problems is hilarious to me.
