Randy Gregory Update

Adolph Hitler's approach to treating mental health issues was euthanasia. Some of the recent posts here indicate that distasteful idea is not altogether dead. Randy smoked pot. So did some of our recent presidents and members of the supreme court.

I'm not advocating him being put to death. This is a football team, this is not life or death. On a football team you need quality players you can count on if you can't count on that player even being eligible to play the game then he is worthless to the team. Was Jimmy a little Hitler for telling a player to get off the field and go to the asthma field while having an asthma attack? No I think he is a football coach trying to build a winning team and either you can help this team or you can't. This is a football team, not a mental health clinic or day care. I hope Gregory does have all this behind him but should he end up failing yet another test what is Dallas just supposed to say well he has problems so no big deal we will just draft someone else until he can get his act together?

I was careful to not mention any names. Just seemed to me there are some quick to condemn. Whatever randy's problem, he's not a bad guy.

He may not be a bad guy. I don't hate him but when putting together a football team you can't just continue to look the other way or make excuses for players who continue to make the same mistakes over and over. It is not just him, each year as of late we have 1, 2 or 3 players getting suspended missing 2 to 4 games then they need to get in game shape and then the season is halfway over. I'm tired of it, I want to see football players, men committed to winning not this BS of "well he has issues” as that somehow makes up for the fact that when you lose a player he has to be replaced so instead of drafting position of other needs we have to draft the same position again because we can't count him. Cowboys need to change this we can't just keep doing it and expecting to win, not going to happen when there is no discipline and players know nothing is going to happen to them.

Lastly quick to condemn? He has failed over 7 drug test to even get to the point he is at, he is damn lucky. Where I work you get 1 chance that is it and they don't pay us millions to do our jobs.
 
So are we advocating that Gregory be elected President or appointed SCJ? It's against the league rules. That's it, that's the deal and nobody has to like it but you do have to understand it. If the rules say you get suspended for doing it and eventually, you can get kicked out of the league, then that's the deal. If you can't count on somebody being smart enough to keep themselves out of that situation, then you count on them at all.

BTW, we've gotten the political jab in now so lets not go back to this or we will take the necessary actions. Lets keep it about Gregory and his issues please.

I have heard from an anonymous source that the Cowboyszone moderators suffer from bi-polar disorder ........... could you comment on that?

Yep, I can. In fact, recent studies seem to indicate that early onset of this Affliction, seems to be caused by over exposure to a very rare element, only found in rare circumstance. The element in question is termed as "zrin", and is, thus far, found in only one place in nature. You guessed it, CZ.
