Say a bit low, Dak should be around 10, so right around there.

Brady and Ryan both a bit high, and Jackson should be behind Mahomes.

Is this your list?

You say you would Draft Dak over Brees, Brady, Roeth, and Wentz, because of age, but you have Lamar Jackson behind Rodgers and Wilson?
Lamaar's not top 10. Almost everyone is overrating him right now.

Ryan was very good last year. He might be higher.

Try ranking QB who are FA this year. lol Which is why as much as he is asking for it will be seen as middle of the road within the next 2 years of his deal.

Jackson has only one season under his belt. Granted it was nothing short of incredible, but he has to prove himself for another year before he passes Rodgers and Wilson who have elevated every team they've led for a long time.

Am I misunderstanding,, is this list counting age as a non factor, or from the perspective of who you would prefer for just this upcoming season?

Ok, if you say so..
I do.

Jackson = Vick. Had a good year or two in ATL, but by the time he got busted for dogfighting, he'd settled into mediocrity as the Falcons finished 8-8 and 7-9 his last two seasons there. Jackson is not anywhere near a good enough passer to rate this highly. Hope he progresses, I like the kid, has a good attitude.

How does Vick getting busted for fighting pits have anything remotely to do with Jackson?
You lost me right there, and then you digressed even further.

I'd place Prescotts name right above Trubisky....#27

P.S. Yes I'm serious no joke intended!
The thing is..

Dak is not a top tier singular QB.

Dak requires more complimentary expensive pieces around him than any QB we have ever had.

When Romo was here..he saved us money. He was able to keep us going without all the complimentary high dollar BS.

Now..we have gone completely the other way.

And instead of the complimentary pieces get us over the top..

somehow Dak by being a multi-million is going to change it?

I just have my deep doubts.

There is no singular thing Dak does that you go..

"Here is what separates Dak from the rest".

Here is what nobody can compete against when Dak is on the field.etc.

Paying him like a King when he is still a pretender still has signifcant downside to it.

There is nothing to be done now.

Next year will be another wrestling match if we go 8-8 or worst.

Big Mike will not be be leaving. Whether we are wise or not is now in the balance.

The only place Dak is considered a Top 10 QB is here and the Cowboy hating media which keep selling him as great.
Trust me when he is gone and we have a passing game again we will all look back and say....whew glad that's over!!

After July 15th we will at least as an entire fanbase know whats really up.
This deal is not done yet,, if Jerry is coming half way with the money than Daks team should do the same with the term of a long term deal.

Stafford and Ryan are both going to go off this year, imo.

Stafford finally missed games, but had a rating of 106 and was on pace for 5000 yards , 38 TDs, 10 ints.
And if FINALLY they can have a run game (added D'Andre Swift and interior line help), look out.
I can't imagine how good he would be with Dallas' line and run game...then Cooper, Gallup, and Lamb....wow.

This was not easy to do.

I have Dak as 11.

But I'd take him today over Brees, Brady, Roethlisberger, and Wentz when building a franchise.

Just because of their age and Wentz's health issues
.

Curious to see other lists....especially the "Dak haters!"
i can live with that list ive had dak as high as 8 and as low as 13 depending on where we move others close to retirement, some very close in tiebreakers all around that tier 2 list..

Is take over wentz, Brady and Ben which puts him at 8th.

Same, but I would put Stafford above him (for the time being) and Brady below for where he finished the season. I think 8th is about right.

Stafford is way underrated
Tannehill to a degree as well, I always considered them as similar early , but if I had to choose between the two I would side with Stafford.
He always seemed to flash those Elway traits occasionally, at moments.

What????? I loved having Romo but he had 3 season out of 10 in which Dallas won double digit wins. 2007, 2009 and 2014 had at least 11 wins.
