How high are you willing to take Jones after the injury?

I'd be dissapointed if we take White. Anybody who gets abused by Laquon Treadwell as bad as he did isn't worth it to me. Imagine what an actual great wr would do

Gareon Conley OSU is vastly underrated, Sidney Jones would be a great pick at 60 if his achilles heals fully. Humphrey is still a project would hate to have him out there on the field full time.
In March of 2017 our seventh round pick of 2016 is possibly our #1 CB. We can improve immensely.

It's pretty apparent after this craptacular free agency period we're going to have a secondary laden draft.

Stoked.

6th round pick.

Feel better?
Got my chest puffed out now, sixth rounder has that lingering smell of desperation early in the morning. Giants and Eagles will be shaking in their boots with this backfield combined with our current pass rush pressure.
Marlon Humphrey until he gets acclimated to the NFL will be a TD turnstile IMO and once seasoned will be every bit as good as our 6th rd choice from last year. Gareon Conley will have to figure out how to use his hands to locate a player while defending as this essential trait has failed to be taught to him at OSU. Tabor has off field issues and a forties time that is inadequate to cover most TE's. This is a deep CB draft, these guys listed all have talent IMO but all are not built to play day 1, last year our coaches did a outstanding job with what we provided in talent. This years DB crop will require the same and any time missed in training camp will be devastating to the improvement of the rookie CB's. Expect some tears is the early part of the season at the cards that have been dealt in Free Agency Mid March to the Cowboys. Jaylon Smith better be fully recovered and improved with that drop foot brace to keep our team in play.
Rod might be sleeping lightly till the coaching kicks in at training camp. Greg Jackson(safeties) and Joe Baker(secondary) are currently listed as our potential saviors, last year after Jerome Henderson left for Miami these guys stepped up and did a great job of coaching up our defensive backfield. Last year was easy compared to what they will be facing this season. Better study up on secondary help in the draft as I am confident our first couple of draft days will bring some talent for Jackson and Baker. I doubt we want Nolan Carroll being our prized CB talent in season 2017.

1. Lattimore - Hamstring issues are scary, but still the best.
2. Moreau - Now that Jones is out of the picture, most polished product.
3. Conley - Solid, but not as naturally talented as some others. Rank him higher because he seems more finished.
4. Humphrey - Biggest issue I have with him is he does not play the ball as well as he should. Like his aggression though.
5. White - Has the tools but just is too finesse for me.
6. Tankersley - Would rank him higher, but he is a flag magnet.
7. Q. Wilson - Wish he was a little less grabby, but he is decent.
8. Awuzie - Looks like a player that could make a long career as a 2nd, "just good enough" corner. Not flashy.
9. Douglas - Not for every team. Is not very physical either.
10. Jackson - Needs a lot of work. Would be a third CB/ST player until he gets it.
11. Tabor - Downgraded severely because he lacks a functional brain. Like a headache diva receiver who isn't even elite to make up for it.
12. King - Fits the mold, just wonder if he can translate that to the NFL.
13. Elder - Would rank higher but smallish and ticketed for slot duty.
14. H. Wilson - Very skinny and needs to fill out.
15. Sutton - Like others, I wish he was not so afraid to stick his nose in there.

Obviously Sidney Jones would be on this list at 2nd. I just left him off because I wouldn't draft a redshirt at the position unless it was on Day 3.

There are some others I like late, like Cutrer, Langley and Griffin.

I'm guessing you have Desmond King at safety?

I wouldn't quibble with that list.
Couple spots could move a bit it's a matter of flavors with how close some of these guys are.

I think Conley will be a good choice at 28 but he is kinda soft.

What are you worried about that will/won't translate to the NFL for King out of curiosity?

I struggle with Awuzie because I want to like him but I always come away less than impressed by him. What King do you have at #12? Desmond or Kevin?
