When did Sid Luckman play? 80 years ago? More? And they had squat since?
I know finding QB's isn't easy. That isn't my point. Even blind luck will get you a good QB more than once a century. Tony Romo and Dak Prescott are proof of this
You just said it’s not that hard finding a QB and now you’re pointing out Sid Luckman who’s the only good QB the Bears have had in 80 years. lol From what I’ve seen of Justin Fields he may not be the answer in Chicago either. Go tell Washington, Miami and Cleveland it’s not that hard finding a QB. Washington has burned 5 first round picks the past two decades on QBs and two of those picks were in the top 5. They mortgaged the farm to move up for RG3 and he went bust. The best QB they’ve had in years was Kirk Cousins who they got with a fourth round pick. They didn’t want to pay him so they allowed him to walk and ended up burning another first round pick on Dwayne Haskins who lasted only 2 seasons in Washington. He was such a dud he’s not even in the league anymore. Now Washington is stuck going from one castoff to another castoff. As for blind luck finding a QB the Cowboys have been very fortunate! We only suffered for 5 years until we found Romo. We caught a huge break with Dak coming along when Romo was at the end.
