Mutual as in the Cowboys saying no to him. For Dak, why on Earth would you walk away from being QB of the Dallas Cowboys?
$$$. He will hit jackpot and get something like 3 for $200 mill on the market

If they don't come to agreement, these fans are gonna be wishing they had extended Dak 3 years from now. Mark my words. This front office can't draft qbs.
Agreed. I’m not very spending everything on Dak. But people forget the Stoerner, Henson, Hutchinson days

Could this be Dak's last year in Dallas?
If they don’t extend him it could be. They would run the risk of losing him in free agency. All we would get in return is a 3rd round compensatory pick. I’m sure most fans would relish that. The Cowboys might wait to see how he’s playing during the season. If he’s playing well they may cave and meet his demands. If he’s not playing well then they might decide to give Lance a try to see if they may be comfortable going forward with him. The Cowboys are in a tough spot because Dak has all the leverage.

I said I was probably wrong. Damn, like you told someone else, grow up! You will really know if I ever really do insult you.
You accused me of not being able to count and instead of admitting you were wrong you’d rather do this? It’s fine. Keep it up. At least now you know what a blowout is?

If they don't reach an agreement before the season then why would Dak reach an agreement in season? His best bet is to get his highest payday is to test FA. This is more than likely his last contract before he retires

Jerry will be laughing all the way to the bank. He couldn’t have ask for a better situation. An average football team with a quarterback playing for his job with the fan base divided. Cha Ching…….
and jerry gets to draw interest on that money still

They have a dilemma. He’s been great during the regular season and they’ve won a lot of games with him, along with a couple of playoff games. They have nothing proven behind him. Making a decision on him would have been easy had he not had such a good 2023 season or if he had a good playoff record. We’re in a tough spot.
I have never seen anyone post probably the real reason Dak has not been extended. I think he wants a record breaking contract. The Cowboys want to restructure and extend but Dak does not like the money they are offering. Let’s be real Dak has never been as good as Russ and you saw how he fell apart the last two seasons. The person we should compare Dak to is Cousins and Minnesota wanted him back but was just not going to break the bank for him. It’s not personal on either side it’s business. I wonder what Dak can get on the open market.
