Rapoport: Cowboys haven't offered Dak a contract extension

They hate Aikman because he is everything Dak isn't. A winner being the main thing.

Their love of a bonafide proven loser like Dak is stronger than their love for the Cowboys.
No Cowboy fan hates Aikman. Funny how you don't understand how the game is played.

Funny how you think only QB's win football games.

This front office has totally wasted this off-season. Except for a 32 year old LB (that took less money to come to Dallas)
their offseason grade so far is an ‘F’.

Most people would agree that the Jones have screwed the pooch so far this offseason. I’m gonna rank this decision up there as well.

God these guys are stupid.

1: If we don't want to resign him, then work with him to get a trade. Otherwise, we will lose our franchise QB for absolutely nothing but a comp pick and a ton of dead cap space.

2: If we don't want to resign him, does anyone trust these idiots to find a replacement? With little resources, no money to spend, and the unwillingness to actually do anything ever?

3: If we do want to resign him, why would we wait for him to play well and then offer him a deal? His price will only go up!

These idiots got fleeced with the last deal and they're trying to do it again!

Only 1 more year, guys.

Unless Dak mans up and request a trade, of course.

Only 1 more year and the loser will be gone.

Rejoice!
Be careful what you wish for. If it weren't for Dak, we'd be playing guys like Drew Henson. Imagine the pain of the Garret years with Clint Stoerner at QB.

Where are gonna get a franchise QB? The mall?

These idiots can't even draft a fat DT to stop the run

If we don't resign him we just might win some playoff games....................

If you hire a guy to paint rooms in your house, how many does he have to mess up before you hire another guy? 1, 20 rooms? How many chances does Dak get to pee down his leg come a big game against a team like the 49ers, much less the Aaron Rodgerless Packers?

With who? Trey Lance?

An unnamed franchise QB that we will luck into in the fourth round? You trust the Joneses to find a qb? Based on what? They backed their way into drafting Dak after targeting two losers who flaked out of the league in 4 years. Payton personally recruited Tony Romo. And even then we played Drew Bledsoe and the likes over him for four years.

What experience in recent history leads you to believe the Joneses know anything at all about getting a good QB?

Dak has 2 more Wild Card wins than Drew Henson.

Miss me with that.

I don't believe Dak is the guy. Let me be clear. I just think it's going to get much much much worse with whoever the Joneses eye as his replacement.

Let's not risk it so we can have 2 playoff wins in another 8 seasons!!! :banghead:

If they let Dak walk for a comp pick this is dumbest operation in football. Trade him now or extend him. You have to get a better return.

At this point if you're not signing free agents no point to extend Dak and let him earn his next pay day.
