If you hate Dak then it was an F. If you love Dak is was probably a B.
I don't love him or hate him. I hate his contract like I hated his previous contract but as a QB he is good, not great. His game today was average, but understand that when you get behind by 3 TD late in the game things are different.
The first INT is threw was a good pass, but Brooks slipped coming out of his break and he started to fall. This is why the ball was in front of him and over his head. If he keeps his feet he is where the ball goes when he arrives. I doubt there would be an INT. I was more ticked off that no one made the tackle until the defender got the ball to the Cowboys 20 yard line. No one seemed to get angry and make the stop. That bothered me a lot.
The second INT was Dak but at that point he was forcing the ball out of desperation. It would not have mattered if he didn't throw it. The blowout was complete.
Dak can play better but in no way was this loss on him. NO took the opening kickoff and scored and easy TD. After Dallas came back with a FG, they scored on 1 play. The FGs are an issue and the dinking and dunking style of offense is an issues, as is the lack of a decent running game. The offenses will never be very good until they can run the football effectively.
The defense lost the game today. They couldn't stop the passing game, and they couldn't stop the run, even when they knew NO was running in the 2nd half. This is going to be a problem all year long. Some of the teams they face, like Baltimore, SF, and Detroit can run the football and will against the Cowboys defense. I'd be more concerned about that than Dak right now.
