I was bored and it was free. But seriously, after Scary Movie 2, these spoofs have become unwatchable. They try too hard and attack too many media personalities.

Touching the Void - 10/10

It's a documentary/re-enactment of Joe Simpson and Simon Yates' climb in the Andes where one of them breaks his leg and is basically left for dead. It's extremely well done. It's on Netflix streaming as well. That's always a bonus.

Actually, Scary Movie 3 was the only Scary Movie that was watchable IMO. And the only "Movie" movie that was any good at all was Not Another Teen Movie (not surprisingly, not done by the same people as the others).

I forgot all about that one. Yeah, that was great. When spoofs don't go balls to the wall, having every scene being a spoof about current celebrity events, then they can be pretty good. But unfortunately that's all the spoofs do nowadays is parody everything in every scene.

Spaceballs, Young Frankenstein, Blazing Saddles are all pretty funny.

You either have to watch sub-titles, or change the language and it's almost like watching an old Kung ** movie, but even with that tis is a great movie. easy 8/10... They are making an english version, I only hope it's as good as this one was...

Hereafter: 5/10 - This film REALLY takes it time with things, and really dwells on what the characters are feeling way too much. And the payoff at the end is pretty weak and not worth the 2 hours spent watching this movie as it drags along. Probably should have been at least a half hour shorter.

Nothing wrong with some good brainless entertainment. It's good to shut off the mind every once in a while. The 3D effects are amazing! Pretty gross parts that will make you gag, but all in all, good stupid fun.

Girl who played with fire is coming out on DVD Oct 26, and the 3rd movie (Hornet's nest) is coming to theater Oct 29th.
