Watched Apocalypse Now on blu-ray 10/10, 1000/10/. This movie is the best movie or 2nd best ever made IMO. Either tied with Shawshank or just behind it. Probably watch Redux and then Heart of Darkness to get the full experience.

The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo 2009...

You either have to watch sub-titles, or change the language and it's almost like watching an old Kung ** movie, but even with that tis is a great movie. easy 8/10... They are making an english version, I only hope it's as good as this one was...

The are changing the freaking story in the Hollywood remake! I haven't seen the other movie, though I did just finish the book.

For me, it's not a movie that I would suggest other going to see in a theater. I LOVED all the action in it but the relationship thing with Moses and Sarah was a little strange.

Paranormal Activity 2 - 7/10

I didn't see the first one so I can't compare it to that but this one made me jump 2-3 times. I'll have to watch the first one soon to see.

pumpkinhead (1988) ...9/10

Still a great horror movie. The lighting in horror movies, when done right, makes it that much better. The pumpkinhead monster was done well for that time. I've been on an old-school horror movie kick lately.

Paranormal Activity 2 - 3/10
I thought it was completely lame. Some parts were actually funny that probably weren't supposed to be, but the pre-quel adds almost nothing to the series.

I'm a sucker for cliche horror movies during the fall and stuff, but it was just so not worth the time and this is coming from a fan of the first film. The "demon" just didn't seem nearly as menacing this time around.

On top of that, they never really bother to answer the big question. Why is some evil demon gonna waste his time opening and shutting kitchen cabinet doors and taking the pool cleaner out of the pool every night?

I enjoyed it for what it was, after a while you kinda just stopped noticing the 3D, which is probably a good thing. It was entertaining, disgusting and groan inducing.
