saw the Ugly Truth-really bad! as far as chick flicks go, the wife owes me again after sitting thru this.

Saw Ice Age and GForce in 3D with Grandson. $30.00 for 3d movies are just not worth it but I keep doing it. there was one 3d movie a couple of months ago about a Super dog that was really good. I think the name was Bolt. Adult humor in kids movies is great....

My wife saw The Ugly Truth while I was in Dallas. She said it was so good she saw it twice!

Bolt is a great movie. Best animated flick I've seen in a while.

The last two movies I saw were on Saturday, and they were both movies I had seen many times before.

The Incredibles - 9/10 (one of the best animated movies ever, IMO)

The Orphan - 5/10

Better than I had expected it to be, due to the direction they went with this idea. It could have been a lot better but it could have been much, much, much worse.


Coraline - 7/10

As far as kid shows go this one wasn't too bad at all. My son loved it and watched it about 30 times while we had it rented.

Friday The 13th (New one) - 4/10

Not really very good but considering the genre and the franchise it actually was better than expected. Pretty much just an updated version where there is more cursing, more naked women, more graphic (I guess is the word) sex scenes, and blood.

I guess I shouldn't say updated either as that implies that its more of an updated version of the original, which it's not. It's more like this happens 20 years after the first one, but without all the stuff that happened in 2-how many others there were, having happened.

part of me likes Kathryn Heigl and part of me thinks she is the biggest narcistic beyotch in all of Hollywood. She just does not appear to be a warm loveable person.

Again, I hated that movie. Not as bad as a lot out there but so contrived and typical chick flick. I looked at my wife 10 minutes after it started and asked her if she wanted me to tell her how the movie ended. She just gave me a death glare.
