Great CGI, but good lord did it drag on. Some of the dialogue belonged in a made-for-tv movie.

Did you see Cloverfield? It might be the worst movie I've ever seen. Terrible.

The annoying narrator guy who filmed the whole thing ruined it.

They forgot to tell people to suspend all belief before watching. Seriously, floating mountains? Yet a chopper needs propulsion to get up there? What's keeping the mountains suspended?

It's Pocahantas meets Fern Gully with a sprinkle of circle of life, the Lion King thrown in for good measure.

Impressive CGI, how they gave all the animals vaginas to breathe out of..

Toy Story 3 - 3D 10/10

Awesome movie and a great end to a great series. All the old characters are back but the movie is made so much better with all the new characters. Ken and Barby, Lotso, Big Baby (lol, creepy!!) etc... This movie has so many good scenes including the daycare escape and the landfill. The trailers only hinted at the tone and story but there was some turns I had not idea about, got dark in a lot of parts.

Man, I don't know if it was the 3D or not, but it sure got dusty in the theater during parts of the movie....really dusty..yup. Pixar sure knows how to make movies kids enjoy and grownups are moved by.

Night & Day - Short 10/10

Man, Pixar's shorts are even brilliant. I hadn't seen anything on this short and was very surprised by it. Brilliantly done mixing 2d/3d.

Except there were a ton of older characters that weren't back as they were discarded by Andy. Ken and Barbie were so juvenile where most of the humor was aimed at Ken being a girlish metrosexual. Lotso was pretty cookie cutter, and while baby was creepy, it's another example of them rehashing the same things (creepy toy with baby head from Toy Story 1).

Did you see the rest of the movie? Your main issue is what keeps the mountains up?

I'm not sure I've ever actually seen you give a positive review of a movie. You see a lot of movies for someone who doesn't seem to get much enjoyment out of it. :D

Remotely controlling an "avatar" half a world away? Sure.

Whacky creatures and trees that store memories? Sure. Why not?

Floating Mountains? *** is this ****?

Toy Story 3 - *sigh* 6.5/10. I really wish Pixar had stopped after The Incredibles because they haven't had a really good movie since then (though there are flashes of brilliance here and there).

This is easily the worst of the Toy Story series. Easily the least humorous, the least interesting, and least original. Again, they rehash the "are we being thrown out" storyline. While it was good in the first, and had strong enough legs to make the 2nd work, it is a worn out premise IMO.

There's nothing really new here, it's the same old story. And while that may not sound bad considering how good the first two in the series are, it doesn't do the same old things nearly as well as those movies did. And what little that is new (the bad toys) aren't nearly as interesting or fun as the toys they replaced.

Ultimately, just another overrated Pixar movie.
And don't bother with the 3D, it is VERY minimal in it's usage, so much so that you can almost watch it without the glasses and still see it fine. So if you can, save your money.

Shutter Island - 6 out of 10. It was actually a pretty good flick and I enjoy DiCaprio's work, but I figured out everything about ten minutes into the movie, which annoyed me.

A-Team - 5/10 - I thought the whole movie was pretty lame.

I think any trailers you watch of it before going pretty much screamed that too. I was a big A-Team fan as a kid, but I have zero interest in seeing that movie.

Invictus 6.5/10 for Matt Damon. I liked it since I generally enjoy Clint Eastwood, but the lighting wasn't great in a lot of scene and obviously very predictable sports movie.

The trailers were bad and about the same as the rest of the movie. Unfortunately my Dad wanted to see it for Father's Day so I had no choice.

Well I gave love to three movies in my original remarks about Toy Story 3.

Crash - ?/10

Still having mixed feelings about it. There's some nice things about it, but some weird stuff too. Not sure how I feel about it.
