Daybreakers

I give it 5/10

I was entertained. I just want to know how the human chick didn't get ate at the end of the movie when she was captured but everyone else who turned back human all of a sudden did.

Despicable Me last week with grandson. Loved it. Predictable but loved it.

Rented Bill and Teds Excellent Adventure on demand last night for the grandson and the last 20 minutes of the movie froze so I have no idea how it ended. I had to keep reminding myself this was supposed to be a classic. Hopefully the last 20 minutes are better than the first 1.5 hours.

The story was good twist on the vampire mythology .....

Agreed: Inception, 10/10

But darn that blasted ending!!

Not in here!

Jennifers Body - 2/10 - I felt like giving a bad review. My ratio was off.

The nerdy chick was hotter than Megan Fox. And Im a Brunettes > Blondes

Every chick is hotter than Megan Fox when you see her club thumb.

yeah it gets a 5 for premise alone.... and thats about it, it could have gone so many directions but the one they pick is not great

Dispicable Me - 7/10

I liked it but thought the beginning was pretty dull, but it picked up towards the end. From the early previews I thought the rivalry between Gru and Vector would be an ongoing part of the story, but it really wasn't at all. Their so called "rivalry" was pointless, since they only shared a couple of scenes together to begin with and there was almost nothing in the way of trying to outsmart or out-evil each other. A lot of it was EXTREMELY predictable.

The Sorcerer's Apprentice - 7/10

Nicholas Cage might have found a niche playing slightly wacked characters like he did in Kick-*** and even The Bad Lieutenant. His days as an action hero are long behind him and I hope he accepts that, but he probably won't. I only went to see it because it was half off, but I came away having enjoyed the experience.

Wait, so you saw TWO movies this weekend and neither was Inception? Did you have to keep a school bus worth of children occupied for the weekend or something?

Just saw Inception, but I don't think I can rate it until I see it again. Definitely brilliantly crafted though.

It's that good?

I may watch it next weekend.

If you like Forrest Whittacker, you'll love this movie.

Also the action is just intense. I'm actually re-watching it now.

He's ok.

He did a good job in Vantage Point even though I didn't like that movie.

Common was a BA in the 1st smokin aces movie and I saw that he was in this movie.

Im actually watching a stream of it right now and it looks interesting. I think ill rent it next weekend.

Today was my first time watching Jennifer's Body. I'll give it a 4/10.

The movie really didn't do anything for me until the dance scene through the beginning of the final credits. The band got exactly what they deserved in the end.

Amanda Seyfried reminds me a little of a young Goldie Hawn/Kate Hudson. While I don't agree that she's more attractive than Megan Fox, she was the reason why I gave the movie a 4/10 instead of a 2/10 or even 3/10.

Why anyone at the asylum would speak with her upclose is beyond me. Her chart clearly said, 'KICKER!' :laugh1:
