I thought the story in The Equalizer was better (but nothing special), but the action in Wick was heads and shoulders better.

The action scenes in John Wick were very well-choreographed, but they were so protracted with the 'body count' becoming so tremendous that the violence gradually lost almost all impact for me. The scene in the night club/spa was so ridiculously over-the-top it became comedic.
I'm not suggesting The Equalizer deserves your Oscar consideration - I just thought it was the better film of the two.

8/10 - I didn't know some of the characters as I haven't seen any comic movies besides TNMT in a long while. I'm sure if I'd seen Avengers then I think I would've been good. Either way, I was expecting some Disney on Ice type show and got the exact opposite. It was totally cool and if it comes to your area, with a kid or not, you should go.

They somehow made a movie centered around deviant sex boring. Everything from the script, pacing, acting, was really bad. I've seen late night Shotime movies that were better, hahaha.
