Annihilation - 8/10
Sci Fi in the purest sense. Leaves you with far more questions than answers. It’s a slow-burner but I’d recommend it.
I have been hesitant about seeing the movie even with Portman, who I like a lot. Relaying what the producer said has motivated me into going to see it now. Thanks for helping me making up my mind.Just watched this and enjoyed it.
The producer thought it was too intellectual and complicated for widespread appeal, and he may have been right, but the director refused changes.
I've seen the 1982 movie Ator, the Fighting Eagle with the addition of RiffTrax:Ator - The Fighting Eagle
Myles O'Keefe...

Good- End-Of-Your-Saturday-Night flick. Which means I'll be watching it at least once a day, for the next few weeks...
I've seen the 1982 movie Ator, the Fighting Eagle with the addition of RiffTrax:
RiffTrax features Michael J. Nelson, Kevin Murphy, and Bill Corbett from the television show Mystery Science Theater 3000.
Just last night I watched the 1997 movie Jack Frost with the addition of RiffTrax:I'm well acquainted, my friend. This shot's for you homie.
Yeah, that was kinda a bomb movie. Could of have been, and should of been better than it was....Just watched Ali Friday night on HBO. It was okay. I like Will Smith, and he did a good job, but I wish they'd cast an unknown for the part, because I couldn't forget it was Smith, and not Ali.
Also, the movie was slow, and it seemed to cover random bits of his life.
no one does that stuff.
I hated the first one too. It's like a high budget Power Rangers.....and the final battle was just idiotic. "Oh, I'm getting my butt kicked, and I'm about to die....I guess this would be a good time to break out this giant sword that kills the monster like child's play!"Hey...what is this? This is a dumb cookie cutter glossy kids flick!! It's NOTHING like Pacific Rim....I want a refund.
