Heard it is not too bad but have not joined it.
Might want to PM @MichaelWinicki I think he talked about joining it at one time or another.

On a side note. Watched Terrorfirer some time back and thought that it had that old school vibe but was kind of cheap and cheesy.
Did not know that the character Art the Clown was in another movie. If you can find All Hallow's Eve it has that character in it. I think it is free on one of the free channels.
Also heard they are working on a Terrorfier 2.
Thanks! I'll creep out Mike later with a PM lol. Yeah don't get me wrong, it was cheesy, but some of that out there stuff, like the mentally disturbed lady acting like his mom, etc. Definite cheese too but kind of felt they did a little give and take with that element knowing it was so outlandish. I'll have to check out All Hallow's Eve but yes, bring me part 2 :)
Appreciate it

Tried to watch the Howling but couldn't get interested in it. Got to the part where the journalist had been rescued from the back room of a porn shop and she was back home but showing some PTSD symptoms. Couldn't wait any longer for something interesting to happen.

It is worth watching for the transformation scene. One of my favorites from any horror movie and best werewolf movie I have seen.

@BigStar

Yes, I'm a big fan of Shudder.

I access it through Amazon, but there are other platforms you can join through such as right through their web site or some cable systems offer it as a package.

I think I pay $6 a month for it.

Whenever you want a horror flick– There it is!

Also they have some series that are pretty good. "Wolf Creek" season 1 is excellent!

The movie "Wolf Creek" was about as disturbing as it gets. That came out about the same time as "Hostel" in a repulsefest.

Yes, very disturbing.

And unfortunately based on a serial killer in Australia who targeted tourists from outside the country and back-packers. I've forgotten his name but he passed away while in prison not long ago. A real piece of work he was.

Thanks for the warning, but I already committed. I'm having my brother over on Tuesday night to watch it together as we're both long-time fans. And I think it was only $5 more to own than to rent it, so what the heck!

I'll temper my expectations and hope that nostalgia is enough to carry us through.
I just rent it and record it on my DVD recorder.

Are you seeing it for rent for less than $19.99?
Oh sorry, I wasn't talking about that particular movie. I just mean in general, rather than pay $18-$20 to buy one, I'll rent and record it. That way I can bring it to my mother's house so she can watch it.

Gotcha.

Yeah, this one is different based on current circumstances. They released it simultaneously in select theaters and for home rental and purchase.

Bill and Ted movies never really did much for me. In fact, those movies are probably why I find it difficult to take Keanu Reeves seriously as an actor. He's always got that burnout air about him. Same goes for John Travolta.

Yes, it's truly a 'love/hate' relationship with characters like Bill & Ted or actors like Reeves. I have a soft spot for the peaceful, lovable idiots, and some just consider it 'dumb'. No wrong answers, just different opinions and preferences.

I actually like Reeves, but I just can't see past the dopiness, no matter what role he's in. I saw something about a week ago that said he wanted to play Wolverine before Jackman got the role. I think he would have ruined it.

Oddly enough I think since he has did so many serious roles since that time, when I was watching the new movie I kept thinking it just did not fit him anymore.

Some of you guys are crazy, Keanu is a good actor and a better humanitarian. He goes from Bill & Ted to Point Break to Speed to the Matrix and John Wick. The guy can play any role, very versatile. The dopey charm fits him well. He would have rocked the Wolverine role IMO, Jackman is overrated

I can't see him in that Wolverine role at all.

But I typically find that I like him in most everything he does that I have seen anyway. But that's confined to Bill & Ted, Point Break, Speed, the Matrix, and the first two John Wick films.

We think Reeves wouldn't make a good Wolverine but if someone had told me Val Kilmer was playing Doc Holiday, I wouldn't have been impressed until I saw him bring that to life.

Henry Cavill went after The Witcher role hard and I had a difficult time seeing him in that until I did. Now, no one could do that justice.

I wasn't a fan of the Bill and Ted movies anymore than Beavis and Butthead, neither even made me smile. But actors don't get locked into roles by me, like Jeff Daniels in Dumb & Dumber. When I saw him paired with Carrey in that, that really piqued my interest.

I saw Snake Eyes: G.I. Joe Origins a couple weeks ago. Another advance screening, so I can't really give much on details. I'll say I thought it was better than the other 2 GI Joe movies, but that is a very low bar.

Unhinged: Kind of fits in with the world today, but the main character was just too stupid for me. I guess the movie would have been really short if she wasn't, but still, it bothered me.
Bill & Ted Face the Music - It was an amusing diversion from the world, though I thought the plot took too many logical liberties and undercut the originals a bit.
New Mutants - Meh. It wasn't excruciatingly bad, but not really worth bothering with either.

6.5 out of 10. Solid to good. Great concept. Great atmosphere. Cinematography was excellent. Really felt as if it had been filmed in the late 70's. A little to "art house" for me as a horror film. The scares could have been better. All in all worth a watch
