Nothing left to fear.

B movie.

Only gave it a chance as I seen Clancy Brown was in it and also heard Slash (formerly of guns and roses) do an interview about this being his first movie as producer and I think writer or contributor.

Low budget. Some acting was OK other not so much. Nothing original. Holes in the plot and the really did not describe the history of why the things were being done. I imagine there might have been more in the script but it was scaled way down due to time and budget.

Even though it had all of its problems and could have been much better... I have seen much worse

Don't think I would ever watch it again. I would only advise those that can watch any straight to video types to watch it.

haha! yeah I remember it being cheesy but loved it as a kid. I hated the clanking of the bottles. I was always surprised people not mentioning the movie anytime Shaq would say, "Can you dig it?!"

LEGO: The Movie - 5/10. I was really looking forward to this and then my mom said she thought it was horrible. I disagree with her often, and the reviews were pretty positive, so I was still hopeful. Unfortunately, I agree with my mom more than I do the reviews. I won't say that I thought it was awful, it did have some fun moments, usually involving Batman, but overall I thought it was spectacularly mediocre.

This would be the difference between going with your kids vs going without I suppose, because my entire clan thought it was AWESOME (if you have seen the movie, pun intended)! The kids were engaged from beginning to end of the movie and the references were well placed. Best family movie since Despicable Me imo.

Having grown up in a house full of Legos, and now having two boys that have gobs of them, I will have to disagree with you. The kids and I loved the movie, and we will see it again before it leaves the theater. My kids didn't like the "twist" at the end as much as I did, but they loved the rest (as did I). What a great experience to share with my kids. 9.5 out of 10 (nothing is perfect). This will be one that we end up buying. I can't wait to be able to pause the movie so I can get a good look at the scenery.

Along Came Polly - 7/10- Rewatched bc of Hoffman's part mainly. Funny romantic comedy type but without the sappyness.

King of New York - 4/10 -- boring Gangster movie starring Christopher Walken as Frank White in early 90's New York. It was on Netflix and hear reference to it in songs so thought I would check it out.
Maybe it was provactive/edgy at the time of release (hip hop gold era of late 80s early 90s) but everything was so cheesy I couldn't take it too seriosly. It was odd seeing Wesley Snipes as cop seeing as he plays kingpin Nino in New Jack City, released shortly after this film I believe.

Horrible Bosses - 3/10 -- even with my man Charlie Day (Sunny in Phili), this movie was boring and tired. I heard they are making a sequel so I guess it did okay in the box office?

Django Unchained 8/10 - I'm late to this one but really enjoyed it. Liked Fox and DiCaprio's characters and the tension displayed between the two alphas. I like Tarentino for Pulp Fiction...Jackie Brown was okay but didn't like the Kill Bill saga.

Along Came Polly is a pretty funny flick. Loved the scene with Alec Baldwin and Stiller in the men's room.

Zombie Apocalypse (2011)

so I decided to watch a Zombie movie Sunday, to get me in the right frame of mind for the return of The Walking Dead, and Zombie Apocalypse was on my DVR...so how could I resist.

B movie, just exactly what you would expect from a movie like this. It was great ha ha. And the zombie CGI tiger at the end? Pure awesomeness.

Ving Rhames (yeah, who? I know) was the big star in this film, but the ladies were by and large also were just what you would expect in a B movie like this - smoking hot, butt kickers.

I mean, really, how to rate a film like this? On its B-ness? Anyone coming to a film like this looking for grand scale special effects or Oscar-worthy performances or anything like that will be sorely disappointed. But for low budget, stick to the script of B predictability? Heck, the zombie tiger totally blew THAT out of the water lol.

So, on the Grand Scale of "B", I gotta, GOTTA go to an 8.5 out of 10 !! (on a normal scale, this equates to more of a 4.5 out of 10)

The Iceman. 7/10

Not as scary as the interviews but Michael Shannon and Chris Evans were great.

After Earth: 4/10

This movie got ripped pretty bad by nearly everyone. 11% on Rotten Tomatoes. So maybe I had extremely low expectations going in and that somehow affected my opinion. It's certainly not the best movie, or even a strong one. But I didn't think it was that bad for what it was. It was entertaining enough.

World War Z: 7/10

I read this book and thought it was great. The Movie has nothing to do with the book-- that much had been obvious since the first trailers and it was apparent that Brad Pitt's character was not even present in the book.

But overall I thought it was pretty good. It was a fun movie that was well done and centers on an interesting question that is posed in the book that was never really fleshed out-- "Why don't they attack each other?".
