Dallas Buyers Club. 7/10.
Matthew owned it. Great performance.

I would give it about a 7/10. Nothing really spectacular. The last few minutes were pretty good.
it ain't very factual at all from what I have heard. You find anyone in the SF community and talk to them and you get a VERY different story then was put out.I was looking forward to seeing that but since so much has come out about much the story being BS... Well I'll still watch it because Tom Hanks is in it, but will have to keep in mind that there are questions about how factual the story is.

Mr Peabody & Sherman - 2/10
I expected so much after seeing the trailers. What a big letdown. I didn't laugh once. Most boring animated movie I've prob ever seen. It's one of those movies you either like or really don't. No in between.
Did the kids like it?

That isn't good to hear. I was going to watch it and hopefully go back to my childhood days. The previews looked good. I guess I will wait until it comes out on Netflix.

The Island (2005)
Despite living in a utopian survival paradise, waiting for his turn to win the lottery and a trip to "the island", one clone causes massive chaos and destruction when denied bacon.
7.5 out of 10
My taste in comedy is wicked. It runs from A-Z. I will find humor in EVERYTHING (although Adam Sandler is making it hard lately). My wife rarely ever watches comedies with me anymore because her sense of humor is a lot more limited than mine. While I’m laughing my rear off she is rolling her eyes in boredom. Juvenile humor? I love it. Sophisticated humor? I love it. That’s why I was looking forward to Mr. Peabody. I remember I didn’t get all the jokes at first until later, but even has a kid I knew some of the stuff they were doing was absurd so I laughed at that. I hoped with a modern flair it would be even better. I guess not.Well my taste in comedy might be different from others. So it depends on what you find funny. I'm used to Pixar films, which are the standard in animation.
Really...I liked the old sherman and peabody spots on the rocky and bullwinkle show but those trailers really looked bad to me. Did not have the same feel at all from what I remembered. Plus they were shorts in the regular show and sometimes when you try to stretch out those types of things to a full movie it does not work.
Either way...loved the old shorts but thought the trailers looked terrible.
Got bored in the hotel room, so I went and saw Robocop 2014. 7.5/10 Way better than I thought. Keaton was great.
Argo-9.5/10
Ben Affleck and Bryan Cranston were awesome.
I liked it but I have to say...It is one of those movies that I don't see myself watching multiple times.
