Yep, watched it on the plane on the way to Turks & Caicos for Spring Break. I'm not a big Spike fan, but I thought is was his best movie since 4 Little Girls. Very worth watching.

No, I didn't even realize it was a remake until I went to rent it and saw both versions. I had just remembered seeing the previews and wanted to check it out. It didn't get very good reviews, but I liked.

The previews look really bad. I won't be seeing this movie until it makes its way to network television.

I wonder how many of the bad reviews were from people who had seen the original.

The original was, and still is, a really good movie and it is a big shocker (don't ruin it for others) when the twist is revealed so if you already know what it is going in to the remake it might not be as good.

The friend of mine who clued me in to the original Oldboy saw it and told me it was just horrible.

I watched Silver Linings Playbook last night. I never thought I'd like a romantic comedy i always thought they were predictable and a blubbery mess, but this is one of the best movies i have ever seen, 9/10
