They did replace Howard with Cheadle, but probably because they realized Howard was insane.Didn't they do the something similar with Terrence Howard and Don Cheadle?

They did recast the role, yes.Didn't they do the something similar with Terrence Howard and Don Cheadle?
Apparently, he wanted too much money. They did replace Howard with Cheadle, but probably because they realized Howard was insane.
Yeah that was so good because of the second half of the movie.Antebellum, great flick. It was a 6 until it took a few turns. I give it a 9 overall.
Stick with it and I think you'll love it.
Not surprised. He seems to think he's really special,, in every way.Apparently, he wanted too much money.
Yep. A couple other ones I've seen recently "Nowhere" was OK. "Till Death" is another one I liked. And "Black Phone" was pretty good.Yeah that was so good because of the second half of the movie.
The surprise is not there if you watch it again, however it is still good on a second watch as you notice stuff you missed before.
The guy riding a rhino, and the arena filled with water, with boat was enough to keep me from watching it.Gladiator II: 4/10
Kind of a mess, all around.
Acting: I love Denzel, but this wasn't the movie for him. His New York accent with everyone else speaking with a British accent was jarring and he seemed out of place. The main character was super wooden and stiff. Pedro Pascal was pretty good, but under utilized.
Plot: It seems like it was written by AI. It had some elements of a good story, but didn't really make sense when you think about it. It never seemed like the stakes were very high or that anything really mattered. No characters were developed. They were kind of the same throughout the movie. The plot just kind of meanders along.
Visuals: Some bad CGI here and there, but overall, the film looked pretty good. The costumes were good.
Pretty disappointing, as I loved the first one. It didn't need a sequel.
Movie wasn't good, but the Romans did flood the colosseum to stage naval battles in it.The guy riding a rhino, and the arena filled with water, with boat was enough to keep me from watching it.
Also, as you stated, it didn't need a sequel. The story was told.
Did they? Did they bring in sharks too?Movie wasn't good, but the Romans did flood the coliseum to stage naval battles in it.
Yes, with laser beams attached to their heads!Did they? Did they bring in sharks too?
