1. Dak is a very good QB.
2. One bad game against a top flight defense without his All Pro LT and his All Pro RB don't change that.
3. Even great QBs throw interceptions when their team is way behind and they are forced to make something happen. See: Tony Romo.
4. This team is very talented. But you can't lose half of your best players, at important positions, and expect the same results.
5. Just as in Tony Romo's era, this team is the victim of: 1. injuries 2. bad coaching 3. up and down defense. (And I'll add a fourth: some terrible reffing. I hate to go there, but it's been unreal and deserves a mention.)

Seeing all this Dak hate makes me sick. Dude has been fantastic and is all class, hard work, character and talent. Everyone ready to throw him under the bus because of one bad game is just asinine.

I agree with everything except 5.1 - every team is a victim of injuries every year, for the most part. Well said though.

Right but saying he sucks and is not the answer is what we are seeing on this board.

Knee Jerkers who dont understand the game.
Which is only a few who are saying he sucks. Saying he’s not elite, capable of carrying a team or questioning if he’s closer to a great bus driver isn’t the same as saying he sucks. In fact all 3 of those statements are probably reasonable at least to some degree.

 That's fair

Dak has had one game where he was under onslaught, and one where he spit the bit---just like he did v. NY twice last season.

I'm not worried at all about Dak. And I'm not even willing to concede he's going to play poorly the whole time with Elliott out. If he plays poorly with Tyron back, then I'm willing to talk about this. Until, it's more noise from unhappy fans.

Dakota will be fine, it's tough when your coaches don't put players in position to make plays.

I'm at the point where I've accepted what they are this season– A team that doesn't make the playoffs.

Yeah I think Prescott had a bad game and will bounce back.

I just think with the cards that have been dealt it's a team that is till lacking in some areas and the suspensions/injuries have made it that much worse.

Finish out the season... Shore up the weak areas like LB, #1 DT, a developmental OT and a little more speed at WR and give it a shot next season.

Im amazed that he hasn't had this game yet. Only his 2nd year. Big Ben threw 5 picks earlier this year. It happens.
Agree. Romo threw 6 picks against the Bills and the Cowboys won the game after our kicker won the game in the last minute.

I keep reading about all the "talent" on this team but am struggling to think of a positional unit that can be relied upon week in and week out to play at a high level in spite of injuries which are part of NFL.

I think the issue on Dak is he isn't better in year two. I can't point to anything he's done this year and say I saw improvement. The offense wasn't more in tune in his second year where it was 100% his team, even when everyone was healthy. Honestly, there will be injuries every single year. If he only looks like a good QB when everything is perfect, then he's not a good QB.

I'm willing to chalk this year up as a mulligan. There's still a chance to pick up the 6 seed just as we get completely healthy, but likelihood is we'll be on the outside looking in. The issue isn't so much the losses as how embarrassingly bad we looked in the losses.

Dak is a good not great QB, and there is nothing wrong with that.
He just needs talent around him to succeed.
He is not the kind of QB that is going to carry a team.
