I wouldn't be surprised if the Cowboys get the league and Player's Union involved in this. Of course it all depends on what Ratliff said and did as much as which doctors said. This could get ugly.

We released him. We are done with him. It wasn't because he'd never play again. Something went wrong and either he was going to sue for some sort of injury mismanagement or Jerry didn't want to deal with him anymore. I don't think anyone was saying he'd never play again, not even this season. Doesn't look like a smart move by Jerry, but it wasn't working out as the relationship was so no one knows for sure. Kind of like an ugly divorce.

Jerry for all the hell I give him, is too damn nice sometimes. He was too nice when it came to the cap penalties and he was too nice when Ratliff physically confronted him. It's time to stop taking the high road Jerry.
