it was said on sunday he was released from the team because the team is a close knit group and they didn't want Ratliff bringing players down.

Seriously, that was the story sunday from the beat reporters on the pregame show, they didn't want him around the other defensive players brining his lousy attitude into meetings and stuff.

I am pretty sure he hurt himself worse from the DUI accident than he led on, then tried to get the Cowboys to compensate him for it. Now that he realizes that Jerry did his homework and has a Legal team that will recoup money from him, he is magically GOOD TO GO. Gotta make that money! LOL.

Jerry Jones already publically said a little while ago(maybe a week) he couldn't comment too much on Ratliff because it "is a legal issue." Jerry knew this and much more info when the Cowboys cut him. I suspected Ratliff was trying to pull something from the first day of camp.

In the end, it would be great for the Cowboys if Ratliff played. I would expect a lot of cap relief if he plays.

It will be hilarious watching the Ratliff-symps here try to defend this clown.
