Mike Huff is a friend of mine, and I'm here to tell you, he has been overrated since his days at UT. He wasn't any good in high school, but his speed is what got him to where he is. He's never been physical or a great tackler. He's now 31 years old and his speed is no longer there. He's done IMO

I can say that about him because I happen to know the truth about his game. I'm proud that he made it to this level, but also speaking as a supporter of the Cowboys, this guy Heath may be a better option at this point.

I've always thought that Spears wasn't made for the 3-4. He was a pass rushing 4-3 DE in college. Parcells ballooned him up and took all the fun away from him.

Because you are supposed to be his friend. Just make your arguments for sticking with Heath without citing your "friendship" with Huff as if it gives you more authority or something. The guy is out of work and looking for a job; yet his "friend" is trash talking his game in public, while making sure everyone knows that its a friend doing it. I just don't get the culture these days.
