So I'm guessing they were worried about someone trading with the Jags at 5 to steal Zeke form us? Can't blame them I guess. Zeke was their guy and they didn't want to risk losing him. Curious about what the offer was though..

They've done the trade down bit and missed on the guy they really wanted before. They really liked Zeke and I'm not sure they felt they could walk away from this draft feeling good about it and not getting the player they had at the top of their draft board. Now, regardless of what happens, in the back of their mind you know they'll keep telling themselves: "at least we got Zeke..."

Jags drafted Yeldon and signed an RB this offseason. I doubt they wanted Zeke that bad.

What if someone moved up to 5? Then you lose out on both players you wanted. I am not a fan of taking a RB in that spot so I would have liked the trade down but if you targeted a guy, no sense putting him at risk.

If Jerry could be killed by fans for bad trades, it would have happened years ago.

No one was trading up for a rb, stop it. Cowboys are the only goofy franchise drafting one that high.
