That's the point. We couldn't score points last year because we were missing the most important player on the entire Cowboys team. Holy hell, man.

Other teams were able to score points and win ball games without a QB. Colt, Texans just to name a couple. Holy hell man

Sorry, I'm all fired up over the Elliott pick, just a great move by the team. Felt like jabbing back at some of the folks who a) were sure Ramsey was the pick and b) were sure that Ramsey was the better pick. Wrong on both counts, Elliott was the best possible pick for this team for so many reasons and it really wasn't close. Bosa was the closest, but Ramsey? Yuck.

I understand the enthusiasm. You may want to cool the jets on Ezekiel though. He has some big shoes to fill and the expectations are high, probably too high. I wouldn't even put money on him starting over McFadden and Morris yet. IIRC Garrett didn't even start Bryant until later in the season because supposedly he didn't know the whole 'route-tree' thing. There are no sure things in the draft, especially this year's draft. Solid but not great is how I would describe it. And I think the players in the second round of this draft have a 50% chance of being better than the 1st rounders. Just a weird draft this year concerning the supposed top players.

You might want to wait until Elliott has actually done something in the NFL before you break out the 'I-told-you-so.' September will be here soon enough and the proof will be in the pudding.
