All's I'm saying is they both get passionate about winning but when one guy does it he's a cancer, etc. You never hear about Ray's murder rap anymore.

Give us Barrabas!!!

Has anyone ever bothered to research how TO became so hated by the media? Maybe I don't know the full history here but he threw Garcia under the bus and did the most un-pardonable thing in show business, he called the guy a _____________. Could it be, and maybe it's just me, but could it be the whole reason why they hate they guy is because he called somebody a ___________, and maybe because they are ________, in the closet? And then it just steam rolled from there?

Or, maybe he is a team wrecker. I just want to know how it all started because it just seems to me he upset the wrong city which has a rep for being, well you know, one of those cities. "Not that there's anything wrong with that."

I disagree. TO respects a winning attitude and Ray is the epitome of win/attitude. They would get along just fine because each player will know that every time he is on the sideline there's someone on the field from the other side of the ball that's ready to ball out at all costs.

TO and Ray Lewis do not like each other. It was reported back when he was with Philly. It's one thing when you have a teammate that you dont like, but you're not going to go to a team if there is someone on there that you personally do not like.

I do not think TO would respect Ray's attitude. I think he is too insecure to have a player like Ray Lewis on the same team as him. TO tries to be the Ray Lewis of offense. Yet he fails, miserably.

In Jerrys twisted mind he thinks bringing Ray Lewis here will solve his TO problem...because Ray and TO are not friends. TO is the hardest nut to crack. Anybody that can run off Bill Parcells is probably not worth it.
Yep Yep.

I'm watching Inside the NFL right now and they showed a little clip of Ray yelling at the head coach. He basically said "Every time you take your best middle linebacker out of the game, they run it up the middle on us. I've been playing this game for 13 years and I was tell you coaches the same thing." Then he smacks his helmet and walks off.

Big deal, players that care about winning get passionate. Now chime in about TO:rolleyes:

why does every monkey nugget out there think 1 type of yelling is the same across the board?

If you're trying to compare Ray Lewis and his ways to TO, you're way off base.

Ray Lewis has been the heart and soul of one of the best defenses in NFL history, and won a SB ring with the best defense the NFL has ever seen.

TO has been a controversial WR for three different teams who has yet to win a Super Bowl.

"The best defense the NFL has ever seen"???

Did you see the 85-86 Bears D under Buddy Ryan?

If ZERO chemistry problems were to surface between the two of them, Owens and Lewis could co-exist. However, if one were to get pissed off with the other, there would be a major clash of differing personalities. In my opinion, the latter is the most likely scenario. Both are very passionate individuals, but only one can express himself in a way which would not affect team chemistry.

Oil and water. They do not mix, but a lit match can still start a fire between the two.

A.) He's not coming here because of what he means to Baltimore
B.) He's not coming here because him and TO are not exactly friends
C.) He's not coming here because we're not going to be players in FA
D.) He's not coming here because we're not going to try and buy a ring

He's not coming here. Lets move on.

I bet you a coach like Belichick would go after Ray Lewis. Regardless of who he has at LB or on that team. You know why? He's a rare football player and impacts his team in every regard. His football breed is not in abundance at all.

So the Ravens coach lost control of his team?
I'm sure that's a relevant comparison, one instance with one player vs. a team's own players admitting the lockerroom is a mess.

Right...and how did T.O. kill the cowboys?

If anything, Garret and Romo killed the cowboys just as much as T.O..

So did Wade Philips with his undisciplined team.

Unfortunately, Owens is close to the root of several of those issues. That said, I don't know that parting ways with him would have made a difference.
