Our schedule is pretty difficult next year.

13-3. Coach of the year is a regular season award. Hard to argue those results. Great in the warm up season, unprepared in the real season.

I would say 8-8 is more likely than 13-3 with our schedule.
I predict 10-6 at this point, maybe 9-7 if they don't spend on defense.

This team hasn't made back to back playoff appearances in 10 years. Dak needs to stay healthy, that's the biggest key. Romo would always get injured in seasons after we won the division

It seems unlikely, but if someone had said this after 2014 we would've laughed then too.
You never know from year to year, which is why it hurts to miss chances like we had last weekend.

At that point he would still have two years left on his contract and (like it or not) be only one season removed from being Coach of the Year. He will almost certainly at least finish his current deal... and likely get another at some point.

Garrett may be the coach but Dak, zeke and the OL lead the team. I would be shocked and pissed if Jerry didn't go heavy on defense, in the upcoming draft.

I can see 8-8. All the chips seemed to fall our way this year. QBs we faced were all slumping, hurt, our bad. Didn't someone post we didn't face one to 10 rated QB at the time of the game until last week?
Tyron's back bothers me, Leary is gone per all of yall and Collins simply isn't as good, Free has no replacement, half the D is gone and though they weren't good, it's tough to replace 4-5 starters in one season.

We ended up 9-7 after the 2007 season so 8-8 is a possibility but I don't see that happening unless we suffer injuries or the team suffers a hangover from going one and out which is a possibility. We usually follow up a great season with a bad season so we can't rule out a rough year in 2017. Everything did seem to go our way during the regular season with Dak having a great rookie season and catching some teams not playing their best football. Zeke stayed healthy all season despite all the carries he received.
Doubt everything will line up as well for us next season and to be honest I kind of hope it doesn't just so we have to play the entire season all out to make the playoffs. That's when we enter the playoffs playing our best and there's no chance for complacency to set in or for us to mail in games. The Packers had to win out to make the playoffs due to their bad start and it caused them to catch fire.
