This feels like a 2011-2013 type season. Not enough talent or depth in places that really matter.

I feel safe with a .500 bet at this point too. Be a miracle if Big Mac pulls off a 4th straight 12 win season with the window shutting.

I'm looking at a scenario where the Cowboys lose more regular season games but advance further in the playoffs.

It's been happening pretty regular around the league over the past 5-7 seasons. Maybe the Cowboys are paying attention. Ther more relevant indication of playoff success isn't the final regular season record. It is their record in the December and January games.

I think Jerry's plan is to tank and sell the team. He is hoping for a slow start, hoping he can trade Dak and play Trance to get a top 10 pick.

He believes this will increase the value of the team.

1. 11 draft picks in 2025 (4 comp picks)
2. $100M below salary cap
3. If he can trade Dak(doubtful Dak would agree to it), even more picks.

As a new owner it would be appealing to have a top 10 pick, $100M in cap space, and 11 draft picks.

Honestly, how much farther can Jerry build the Cowboys Brand? It is time to sell.

As an A's fan, and no salary cap in baseball, I would hope he would buy the A's. Move them to Vegas and do his thing all over again. Jerry was at his best with no salary cap.

Can you imagine the media coverage of Jerry with a 162 game schedule vs 17 games.
