fine i can work with that.

so was the miles pass a bad 'decision'?

If you're referring to the INT that was on Austin for crossing Romo up. I never blamed Romo for that play.

He makes too many boneheaded decisions. It's not necessarily the "plays" it's his "decisions". Do you not agree?

bingo.

It's how he reacted to that play that I blame.

And why that play happened at all that I blame the coaching staff.

The fumble was a result of Romo not recognizing where the blitz was coming from. He never looked at the safety who was coming up that's the QB's responsibility. Making reads is part of the decision making process. The fumble that resulted was on Romo.

fine. would you agree that his fumbles normally dont happen in the traditional manner like it did sunday?

also would you agree that he was playing tentative, or not his normal style?

funny how brady got hit on his blind side and fumbled also yet no one bashed him for it.

it led to a td just like romo

you have to protect the qb blind side. you can blame romo for a lot lately but i didnt blame romo for that play in particular.

not only was the protection poor but so was the play calling.

3rd and 14 and you have your qb dropping back to throw that deep in broncos territory

The "traditional" manner of losing a fumble is when a QB's protection breaks down and they get blindsided. It's when a QB doesn't see a defender that most fumbles occur. This is what happened to Romo yesterday. He never saw the safety coming up and got nailed. The fumble wasn't the usual Romo fumble with him being careless with the football it was a result of him not making the proper read and picking up the blitz. Romo has done a better job of protecting the football this season when defenders are around him by putting two hands on the ball but regardless the fumble he had on Sunday was his fault. As for him playing tentative I would agree with that. He fears making a mistake and it appears he starting to aim and telegraph his passes.

He looks tight and is starting to become gun shy. There's been so much scrutiny over his turnovers it's clearly affecting his play. He's thinking rather than reacting. He's at his best when he's able free wheel it but he turns the ball over so much the Cowboys have had to reel him in. They're trying to limit his mistakes but he's going to continue to make them until the day comes when they finally throw in the towel on him. He's a very talented QB but he makes too many mistakes and poor decisions plus he's becoming inaccurate. Instead of improving he's regressing. These are the facts.

Brady doesn't have a history of turning the ball over and he's got 3 rings. His team also won yesterday. Think about it! :toast:
