Agreed. I grew up with people saying being wrong should be something you should just accept. No harm. No foul.I don't really mind those people that want to see the bright side of each game. It's the people that come in the second the game is over talking about eating crow and "I'm sure glad I was wrong" wanting in on the victory supper after spending all week telling everyone to be realistic. At some point, you gotta put chips on the table and you in or ya out!
Everyone gets something wrong occasionally. However, it is somewhat vaguely false in seemingly always saying, "I'm right! I know I'm right! You cannot make me say otherwise! I'm right times infinity! Wait. I was wrong. Let me publicly apologize for unashamedly saying I was right. That's my penance. Now I'm off the hook until the next time I say I'm right and I cannot be wrong!"
