When Jerry finishes paying Dak’s contract, if we have not proven we are close to at least a conference title game, I think the whole team gets blown up, including Dak. If you aren’t closer to a championship, no one will care whose fault it is, the owner won’t keep wasting money on a team that isn’t going anywhere. Even if Dak is widely considered a top QB, you will have failed to get there over almost a decade. At that point, you blow it up.

I think people are thinking more on the line of team success. We had the number one offense and got no further than the Eagles.

If we have the same lack of success over the next two years, what do they do? Say thanks for the gaudy stats, here's a raise? I guess if Jerry blames himself for not properly building a team, they might. He did it with Romo.
Lack of success as in playoffs...

And those stats will Make Jerry feel we are close so he will justify the new contract.

logically he should. But with Jerry it's about marketing relevance and not championship...

The offseason polls will be out soon.

NFL players, coaches and front office personnel will have their say on where Dak ranks.

I can’t wait. I kept receipts.

“NOT TOP 10, ONLY DAK HOMERS THINK HE IS DURRRRRRR”
:thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:
Garbage stats and polls......the Dak lovers have hit the bottom of the barrel!

In the meantime look at Dak's way who has left you guys out to dry with his dismal performances against real teams!!

P.S. Now tell us how great of a guy he is and a leader next to none baby!!!:muttley:

The Jones boys have convinced themselves they're "close" for 15 years, first with Romo and now with Dak. They're not going to move on from a 30 year old QB in 2024 unless his play drops off significantly. They'll keep convincing themselves that they're not far away, and we'll keep getting what we've been getting.
As long as the fans but jerseys and they can raise ticket prices then why change? Right.....

Ya know, I'm not a Dak lover or a Dak hater...I do think he's the best QB for the Boyz for the immediate future though. It's not like they would find a better one in FA...much less pay for it. Drafting a better QB would be extremely difficult IMO. They would have to draft a QB high, and he would have to immediately show that he can play with the big boys...To me that's just wishful thinking!... If the O line can jell together somehow that would not only help protect Dak, and give him more time to let some plays develop downfield in the passing game, but it would help with run blocking...Dallas has to run the ball better. It takes a team to be successful, and I think that Dak can be the leader that the Boyz need to accomplish great things...

Hillarious the usual suspects chiming in on a top 10 qb (conservatively) getting top 10 money at his position.

I mean if you can upgrade do anytime, thats what is always funny about this argument to me...No doubt there are some better QB's ...but can you get them or are you just changing QB's hoping the outcome is diferent?
You cannot upgrade at anytime, that is why he got paid, and others like him did as well. You can always find a QB sure, but an upgrade? Even with a 1st overall pick there is no guarantee.

Then that would explain his presence here as a Dak Troll. Most of these trolls are opposing fans posing as disgruntled Cowboy fans. And simply here to incite reaction and turmoil with Cowboy fans.
Thanks
He is a bit Dak triggered. Obsessed actually to a point of unhealthy. He also likes to argue and his goal is to win any meaningless argument. So he contradicts himself regularly from thread to thread sometimes post to post. Just start mentioning Wentz and Cousins and watch him go...Oh and he also thinks the whole board revolves around him. Just wait for his responses to this comment.....3....2.....1..

At least pappy is consistent. I rather enjoy his posts..they funny.

I don't think he wanted a 4-year on account of the players' share. He likely wanted 4-years so he could turn right around and sign for another 4-6 years after the cap has increased regardless of a new CBA or not.
