Reality with Daks contract

Stats and skills are not the same things. One does not validate the other.

There are much more skills QBs than Dak that don't put up the same numbers as Dak.

Maybe they aren't down by 4 TDs going into the fourth quarter and throw a couple meaningless TDs? Maybe they don't play and throw 5 TD passes against the Eagles practice squad in the last game of the season? Maybe they don't have a pass happy coordinator that refuses to utilize the run game?

I'll say it again. Stats do not equal skills.

so you try to prove a point with exaggerated comments? lol No they get teams like Lions, Bears and Vikings? you act as if every QB is playing championship caliber teams every week and that is far from the truth. So stats mean nothing and wins mean nothing so it is all in your head right, you have your own criteria that no one else follows.

My favorite is when they try and say they've been a Cowboys fan for (insert a lot of years here) to try and convince people that they aren't Dak fans more than they're Cowboys fans.

Maybe they've always had a player they value over the team and Dak is just the next one?

When you say you're okay with getting someone equal as talented as Dak then I have to question if you really actually care about winning. Why would anybody not want better?

You said where they rank in things indicate their skill level. Which is not true at all.

Lamar Jackson lead the NFL in TD passes and won the MVP. Do you think he is a better thrower of the football than Rodgers, Mahomes, Brady?

Skill wise Dak ranks within the top QB in the league, I point to the fact that in most every category he ranks top 7 to 5 QB but you blow that off so evidently it is not wins and it is not stats it is some kind of made up crap.

You did say you point to the fact where Dak ranks in stats as an indicator of his skills, right?

Next years draft could see as many as 6 QBs taken in the 1st round according to things I've read.

Hopefully we get one of em.

Anytime someone claims Dak as some elite QB or ranked with Brady or Rodgers I have said he is not elite. I think he is a good QB and a QB you can win with. I think there are several QB who fit that mode in the NFL and each are capable of leading their teams to a title. Would I like to get an elite QB? sure only problem is you can spend years in search of one, how many years has Cleveland looked for one? that is has been a grave yard for QB, many 1st rd picks over years
