RECALLED PAST THREAD: Romo...

what does a winning record do if you cant do anything with it? At least gibbs can accomplish SOMETHING in the postseason

One horrible playoff win aside, I would happily take the Cowboys roster, draft and cap situation over the current Commander situation. Your team is old, overpayed and bereft of picks to fix it once Gibbs is gone.

Whatever some think of the job Bill has done on the field, he's done a 20x better job than Gibbs off of it.

I dont think its Gibbs fault in all honesty .....

As long as Snyder keeps trying to win in this crazy (Pay every scrub 10 million dollars) way he will always have a new team year to year .....

Snyder keeps firing coaches left and right ..... but he is the only constant. And the team is the same year in and year out ...... no matter the system or the coaching staff.

Its Gibbs philosophy to trade draft picks for vets, not Snyders. See the shining brilliance of the Lloyd and Duckett trades and tell me again how its Snyder's fault.

Gibbs also has final say on personnel. Snyder might have vastly overpaid Archulletta but it was Gibbs (via Williams) who said go get 'em. It was Gibbs who let a vastly better Safety Clark who wanted a ton less money walk away, not to mention Antonio Pierce.

They have been doing that since Snyder took over .....

I think wilee is just relating that Gibbs' philosophy is just as ridiculous as Snyder's

Summer is not funner.

The off season threads are not only awful but redundant :(

I know you have 15k posts but I think it time for a name change ;)

That's true, but nearly as bad as the past couple of years.

The problem this season wasn't Snyder.

Gibbs let Williams hand pick his players on defense and consider who should be resigned or not. Ofcourse Gregg Williams thinks he can put in any scrub alive and make his defense work.

Atleast this season opened his eyes and exposed the cheesecakes he was playing on defense this year like Lemar Marshall, Kenny Wright and Philip Daniels.

who cares anyways, this is like arguing whats better puke or ****. We've both sucked for the past decade except our side of the field has been a little greener with two measly playoff wins.

this is just my 2 cents on romo, for just a moment forget im a skins fan..romo will be put to the test next season,

It is entirely impossible to forget you're a skins fan when you write something as stupid as this. Thank God you only spent 2 cents.
Gee.....YA THINK!?:clubbed: Next..............

He makes a very good point but you can say that about any young QB in the NFL including their your very own Jason Campbell. Next year with so many young QB's its going to be very interesting how they come out early in the year and how they end the season.

I've been telling him this for years.. He means well, it's just that he knows ABSOLUTELY nothing about the game of football... Nothing!!!!

Like the 'magic' romo had, huh? You mean, how the football magically slipped through his fingers on that field goal? :lmao2: BTW-1-3 vs. Skins over the last 2 years.:lmao:

Yeah, the whole Commanders team must've had fun watching that game on their couch.

I know I did.....memory of a lifetime....(tell me you'll ever forget it?)

It was nearly as memorable as watching an inept Carlos Rodgers drop a sure INT that could have been returned for a TD against the Seahawks in last years divisional playoff round.

Only, Rodgers isn't half the talent Romo is, so it didn't get as much media play.

The subsequent Commanders fall into the dregs of the NFL, where they belong and will remain, as long as the clusterduck front office remains in tact, made it all the more entertaining.

Will there be anything else, or are you through boring us tonight?

At least use a better example that that (REALLY, how memorable will that Rodgers play be in 10 years vs. the Romo play) you could at least have used a play AS memorable (example-Gus breaking his own neck against a concrete wall-see how it works?)

And another thing, if you really were THAT bored with my trolling- you would have never even taken the time to respond.

And last of all, how does it feel to lose 3 out of the last 4 games to such a dreg of a team?
