I love him because he's never won a playoff game against us, that's why!!! Another reason is I think he's been one of the better role model players, much as Irvin owned up to his mistakes, tho most will probably never forgive him. Favre has put his teams into the playoffs every year he's had at least average talent around him, and he is definitely a franchise player...
Still, his over-the-top gunslinger style has cost his teams some games to be sure, and right at this moment I'll take Romo over Favre if I need to win a game. If Brett gets hot you can forget about it - there is none better. But his willingness to risk everything on a throw reminds me of the difference between Tiger and Phil Mickelson. One wins, the other wins sometimes...
