how do you miss that. how do you ignore it in the wide-open view of everyone? that was critical, you can not allow those to go uncalled.

I agree. I don't mind if they "let them play" but then they need to be consistent about that. The PI was absolutely clear to anyone. It is doubtful that the ref did not see it. Of course, "let them play" did not apply to our OL.

I understand at time refs make bad call or miss call even sometimes decide to eat the whistle in OT or critical moments "lets them play" but when they call all of them, on us in OT then just flat out ignore a mugging on Lamb i mean its wasn't close flat out jumps on lambs back with ball in the air long before the ball arrived.. that raises serious questions

The worst part is Lamb was calling for PI before the ball even arrived! That’s how bad it was

The game is scripted. We were literally marching down the field with ease until the refs step in and call a phantom hold, turning a 1st down into a 2nd and 19. Then we cut that 2nd and 19 to a 3rd and 4, but mysteriously the eagle-eye refs miss one of the most blatant holds you could ever see. This wasn't one of those difficult calls. This is one of the easiest holds you could ever make, but no call. It's clear the refs are in there to help shape games, just like when the Titans played Mahomes and the Titans get two penalties called on them back to back when Mahomes was trying to go for two. If anyone can't see this, they are choosing to be blind.
Tell me how you voted without telling me how you voted, luulz.

I too understand the frustration with officiating, but the refs didn't shut down in the 4th quarter, the team did. It should have never went to OT if this team had heart.

People who hate the Cowboys will chime in that "bad calls go both ways.." and "you have to not leave it up to the refs." Problem is, it's ALWAYS up to the refs. The refs literally swallowed the whistle against the Packers for the entire 4th quarter and OT. Meanwhile they threw 7 flags against the Cowboys in the 4th quarter and OT. Several of them of the absolute horsepucky variety.. like the "blindside block" against Joseph. How the hell do blindside someone when you're running stride for stride with them for 30 yards? The no-call on Alexander was also horrendous.. Even if the hold against McGovern was (borderline) legit they completely ignored that same technique when it was done to our guys all game long. On one of the wide runs the tackle literally stretched Parson's jersey out three feet holding onto him so hard. The back judge and the side judge both had a clear view just like the rest of us.. No call..

I hate the refs.. I hate Goodell.. and most of all I hate people who will stand here and act as if games like yesterday were call fairly. The Cowboys will not get past the divisional round of the playoffs until either Goodell is removed or Jerry dies.. As long as Goodell is in charge no team run by Jerry will ever win anything. He will make sure of it.

No the refs did.. Almost every time the Cowboys had a good play the refs found their flag. And if the Green Bay needed a little boost.. they found their flag against our defense. The call against Joseph was probably the worst one of the game but there were a dozen no calls the Packers received that easily could have changed the game.. starting with the PI by Alexander against Lamb.. I really don't understand how people fail to realize that if the refs make you do something the right way twice or three times but never actually make your opponent play within the rules you're going to lose every time. It doesn't matter how much better you are than the other team. There is no cap on how many flags they can throw against you and if they let the DBs mug your receivers your passing game will falter..

I'll say this, there were definitely some weird calls in that game against us. Missing the PI was pretty bad. And how they came up with a blindside block on Joseph on the punt return was bizarre. It was like the ref didn't actually see the block and when the defender went flying, the ref turned and just assumed he must have been hammered from the blindside. I found the hold against McGovern to be pretty ticky tack but I've seen similar called.

But let's not pretend we don't also sometimes get some calls our way. CalPoly pointed out some missed calls in the last Commanders game that definitely helped us. I don't know if it's lopsided against us or not. But I suspect it's just bias at play because we watch the Cowboys and not other teams around the league. I live up here in Philly and to them, they think the Cowboys often are the beneficiaries of close/bad calls. At the end of the day, I think it's just a matter of perspective. People whined about the Tolbert situation and how the ref hosed him there but it appears that Tolbert did in fact screw up. It's not the job of the referee to move an offensive player (or defender for that matter) back onsides.

In general, I think officiating is just not very good across the board. It's not just an league mandated anti-Cowboys thing at work here.

The bottom line is this game is hard.. REALLY hard.. and guys are literally out there taking years off their life expectancy slamming into each other. And no matter what the mediots try to tell you.. the talent differential among NFL teams is razor thin and even the slightest level of BS from the refs can be enough to turn a game.. One bad call a half can cost a team 14 points in a game. One bad call a a quarter can cost a team potentially 28 points.. How many NFL teams out there are 28 points better than another NFL team..

Here's my list.

we had the ball and were driving to win until two horrible ref decisions that of course went against us.

Just saying, if it were Brady or Rogers the Refs would have thrown the flag on the PI.

Jerry needs to start lobbying the Refs. The squeaky wheel always gets some grease.

The refs need to be called out. Players shouldn't have to 'outplay' the refs. I can understand occasionally missing a call, but this is much more than that. Refs are literally narrative shaping and controlling the game. I wanted the Rams to win the superbowl last year, but it's clear as day they marched Stafford down the field with penalty after penalty on the Bengals. Same thing with the Titans vs Chiefs. They literally called TWO back-to-back penalties on the two point attempt on the Titans, so they would make sure that Mahomes would convert. Same with this game against Rodgers. We were clearly marching down the field with ease, and then a magic penalty that turns a first down into 2nd and 19. We get it to 3 and 4... Magically the eagle eye refs who can call a ticky tack can no longer see than Ceedee being grabbed in the middle of the field. This is beyond incompetence and occasionally missing a call. The refs are being used to tilt the outcomes of games. You cannot 'outplay' this sort of thing.

I thought it was a fairly called game until late 4th Qtr & OT. Definitely seemed to go a little one sided.

Tolbert looked like an idiot but IF a ref told him to move up & then called a penalty ..... that ref should never work again & be charged with trying to fix the game. It should be on video somewhere so I'll be curious to see what comes of that.
