He's had 35 years to draft a 1st round QB since Aikman and the closest he's come is a trade for a scrub 1st rounder.
There was the 2nd round pick for Quincy Carter.

I will never fathom Jerry's stubborn refusal to just do what has been proven to work.

The regular season is not the "season". It is a portion of the entire season.
The season ends at the end of the Super Bowl.

The regular season is a prerequisite for an opportunity to have an outstanding season.
Dak's entire season combined (all teams combined) equated to the 32nd ranked pass defense. He plaoyed terrible teams all year and the defense once again led the league in scoring, was near the top in turn overs and gave numerous short fields. His stats are smoke and mirriors. Any good team he played he looked terrible. We are one season removed from him having the most interceptoins in the league and he just threw two in the most important game of the season. Against the packers he had an 11 rating in the first half. With 6 minutes left to go in the game he had 195 yards 1, TD and 2 picks, one being a pick 6. It's a pattern, it's real. Coaching and experience isn't going to change it. He's already gone through 3 OC's and 8 years in the league. He is what he is.

Yup
..I am ready to move on from a lot of players on that D. Kearse, Hank (probably, not getting any younger), Gallimore should have been cut in preseason, Fowler, Armstrong...

Can all go. I am ready to turn it over to different FAs and draft picks.
But the D is only half the problem, unfortunately.
We have deep problems.

Dak is what he is , a fourth rounder from lowly Miss State, who no one wanted . Benefited from the best OL and running game in his initial years and fooled everyone with empty stats ,into believing he is an MVP . His record is in the playoffs is abysmal and has lost more than 75% of his games against winning teams . It all adds up . Jerry has trapped the cowboys with Dak
trapped is right.
We have deep problems with lose/lose options to choose from.

that's why the regular season cannot be used as a gauge of entire season performance, which includes the playoffs and Super Bowl.

A regular season can get you into the playoffs, which is the minimum necessary prerequisite for a chance to complete the entire season.
So we can only say Dak completed the minimum prerequisite for a chance to have a great season.

Yep
250 of the 400 yards (and 2 TDs) came after the game was WAY over.
Either the scrubs were playing or before that, the Pack was in full-on prevent mode.

Almost certainly the most deceptive stat in the history of NFL playoffs
It did help Dak keep is career passer rating above 90 though!
What's even more shocking, is he talked about how in the second half "he got it going" pretending like it didn't matter they were playing 2nd and 3rd string players and playing prevent defense. Lol

Yep. We've gone the undrafted and mid round pick route. Hasn't panned out. Time for a blue chipper.
There has to be a sucker or two that will give up a couple of HIGH PICKS for Prescot and I wouldn't mind it at all if the Boys tanked a season to possibly get a BLUE CHIPPER. Prescot may not have a no-trade clause in his contract, but there are ways to twist one's arm to get the job done. It's time to move on from the MIGHTY TOAD HUNTER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

He actually believes the kid gloves hype he gets. Probably believes he ads $60M in value to the team
