now add up their champ game appearances, and wins, SB appearances then you get a clearer picture.
Dallas hasnt even been to a champ game this century.

So what? They are good now. The Chiefs went 50 years between Super Bowls. It took Andy Reid 20 years to win 1. The Eagles have only won 1. The Bills have never won. The Vikings have never won.

Here’s how we have done lately in the playoffs . Not too good. Will we do better . *** knows. When we do then we can discuss it.

and many here live in a fantasy land where you adore the cowboys and certain players, and think SB every year.
Eternal Hope fed to you by jerry, and you swallow all of it.
I dont moan or cry, I know what to expect from the cowboys, and so far they havent done anything different.

I also enjoy whole nfl and other teams, not just locked in on the cowboys.

Fans adopt teams, then start to think of it as their team, and treat it and the players like they are their kids.
It is all in your mind, as the team is jerrys, and the players are just some guys who play football.

The current team is good. It isn't a fantasy. They have a shot it is the NFL. It is what it is.

pointing at other teams is not a good argument to validate dallas not getting past div round in this century.
They do have a good team last 2 years, and and 2016 ,2014 etc, but the seasons all ended the same, that isnt just coincidence is it??

And you should just enjoy the potential dallas has this year, instead of arguing with others on here, about dallas being a SB team or whatever.
I wont deny they have potential to do better this season. However they usually find a way to screw up and lose by the div round.

or that they dont have a shot.
heck about 10 teams in the nfc have a shot, maybe more.

you didnt specify shot at what though lol or how good a shot it was.

maybe you can relate to this, dallas isnt like rambo, they dont bust free and win the day. They dont have the rambo mentality or toughness.

I've not been following the thread and don't have time to read 14 pages of posts.

Could you briefly mention the specific players you wished the Cowboys would acquire, and the cost (in talent or salary) you are willing to sacrifice in exchange?
 
I believe Jerry wants to win. I also believe he’s not very good at it.

On a personal level, Jerry thinks he made a deal with God to win Super Bowl XXX. “Just let me win this one, and I’ll never ask for more.”

Now, he wants to renege on the deal. But God has a habit of honoring the deals you make with Him. So, I’m not expecting another Super Bowl for the Cowboys while Jerry walks the earth.

I think he’s referring to winning Super Bowls this era.

We all know the success he had early on when Jimmy was building the teams for him.

And yes, we are all aware of winning 12 games in consecutive years for the first time in 30 years but it still didn’t result in at least a championship appearance .

The Cowboys reached a new NFL futility mark in the most consecutive divisional playoff appearances without advancing to a championship game .
