Reminder: Michael Irvin on Tony Romo

It wouldn't have saved any time. We would have used our last timeout with 26 seconds left, but they would have had a first down on our 21. They would have run Eli, then called timeout with four seconds left just like they did anyway. Even if we hadn't called a timeout when the clock was already stopped with 39 seconds left, we would have been able to call another timeout after Eli's sneak, but they would have done the same thing on second down and called timeout with four seconds left anyway.

There's nothing we could have done with our timeouts to save any time to get the ball back.

Guess that's because almost every pass Eli was throwing on the drive was for a first down.

Wade was incapable of stopping the bleeding.

Wade dressed for the game?

No wonder we couldn't stop anyone.

Speaking of that, does anyone think Wade would do a make a pretty good short yardage NT--plug up the middle?

Only if you consider less than half to be "almost every."

Highest rated QB over first 40 starts? Romo....second is P. Manning.

Should we look at TD's over that same period?

Yeah, let's get rid of him.

Leave it to my future ex-husband to put things in perspective. Now that's some practicle application for your behind. Let's even bring back Chutch. They both were all-world QB's (supposedly). Lets see what Redball can do with them. No one has gotten us as close as Romo since the glory days.

Wades golly shucks attitude reflects greatly on this team. There is no fear of Wade after bad plays.

the defense is handed a first and 20 and do not even force the giants to need 4th down to keep going. .......

The secondary played a game tonight that looked straight out of dave campo's playbook via the late 90s and early 00's.

as long as the offense has to account for the defense they will be aggressive and take chances. And chance is a horrible game to play.

You're the first person I've seen that's riding down my street. Not to mention the defense had the Giants at the 20 twice at the end of the game when we had the lead and couldn't stop them once.

Thank you.

Now, lets mention that Brady was 23-47 today (sub 50% completion percentage) for a mere 216 yards with no TD's and a pick, and the Pats lost to the Jets.

QB's have bad days. It's just when our's has a bad day, he's horrible, the worst ever, and should be benched for Jon Kitna, and we should trade out entire draft to pick Colt McCoy.

there ya go... fixed.

Last night's game had an electric, playoff atmoshere and Romo simply wasn't able to handle the pressure of the moment.

It's time to stop making excuses for the guy and admit he is what he is!

We have a QB that prompted this classic line from Parcells..."Well, he's off the reservation today!"

That was 3 years ago against the Giants and it fit just as well last night as it did 3 years ago.

There is alot of truth in this post.
